Before October 1593 David Barry 5th Viscount Buttevant [aged 43] and Ellen Roche Viscountess Buttivant were married. She by marriage Viscountess Buttevant. They were third cousins.
On 10th April 1617 David Barry 5th Viscount Buttevant [aged 67] died at Barryscourt Castle. His grandson David [aged 12] succeeded 6th Viscount Buttevant.
