Luke Plunkett 1st Earl of Fingall -1637

Luke Plunkett 1st Earl of Fingall was born to Christopher Plunkett 8th Baron Killeen and Genet Dillon Baroness Killeen.

Before 26th September 1586 [his father] Christopher Plunkett 8th Baron Killeen [aged 22] and [his mother] Genet Dillon Baroness Killeen were married. They were third cousins.

On 13th January 1595 [his grandfather] James Plunkett 7th Baron Killeen [aged 53] died. His son [his father] Christopher [aged 31] succeeded 8th Baron Killeen. [his mother] Genet Dillon Baroness Killeen by marriage Baroness Killeen.

In or before 1604 [his brother-in-law] Richard Nugent 1st Earl Westmeath [aged 20] and [his sister] Jane Plunkett Countess Westmeath were married.

Before 1608 Jenico Preston 5th Viscount Gormanston [aged 23] and [his future wife] Margaret St Lawrence Countess Fingall were married. She by marriage Viscountess Gormanston.

Before 9th June 1611 Luke Plunkett 1st Earl of Fingall and Elizabeth O'Donnell were married.

After 9th June 1611 Luke Plunkett 1st Earl of Fingall and Susanna Brabazon were married.

Before 29th January 1613 [his father] Christopher Plunkett 8th Baron Killeen [aged 49] died. His son Luke succeeded 9th Baron Killeen.

On 4th September 1621 [his brother-in-law] Richard Nugent 1st Earl Westmeath [aged 38] was created 1st Earl Westmeath. [his sister] Jane Plunkett Countess Westmeath by marriage Countess Westmeath.

Before 21st March 1628 Luke Plunkett 1st Earl of Fingall and Eleanor Bagenal Countess Fingall were married.

On 26th September 1628 Luke Plunkett 1st Earl of Fingall was created 1st Earl of Fingall. [his wife] Eleanor Bagenal Countess Fingall by marriage Countess of Fingall.

In January 1636 Christopher Plunkett 2nd Earl of Fingall and Mabel Barnewall Countess Fingall were married. He the son of Luke Plunkett 1st Earl of Fingall and Susanna Brabazon.

In 1637 [his son-in-law] John Talbot [aged 29] and Catherine Plunkett were married. She the daughter of Luke Plunkett 1st Earl of Fingall and Susanna Brabazon.

Before 29th March 1637 Luke Plunkett 1st Earl of Fingall and Margaret St Lawrence Countess Fingall were married. She by marriage Countess of Fingall. They were half fourth cousins.

On 29th March 1637 Luke Plunkett 1st Earl of Fingall died. His son Christopher succeeded 2nd Earl of Fingall. Mabel Barnewall Countess Fingall by marriage Countess of Fingall.

On 16th November 1637 [his former wife] Margaret St Lawrence Countess Fingall died.

[his son] Christopher Plunkett 2nd Earl of Fingall was born to Luke Plunkett 1st Earl of Fingall and Susanna Brabazon. He married January 1636 Mabel Barnewall Countess Fingall, daughter of Nicholas Barnewall 1st Viscount Barnewell and Bridget Fitzgerald Viscountess Barnewell, and had issue.

[his daughter] Catherine Plunkett was born to Luke Plunkett 1st Earl of Fingall and Susanna Brabazon. She married 1637 John Talbot and had issue.
