On or before 13th July 1718 Charles Dalston 4th Baronet was born to Charles Dalston 3rd Baronet.
In 1723 [his father] Charles Dalston 3rd Baronet died. His son Charles [aged 4] succeeded 4th Baronet Dalston of Dalston.
On 1st May 1735 Charles Dalston 4th Baronet [aged 16] enrolled as a scholar at the Royal Naval Academy.
On 29th July 1737 Charles Dalston 4th Baronet [aged 19] joined the 50-gun fourth-rate HMS Gloucester as a volunteer. Gloucester sailed to join the Mediterranean Fleet soon afterwards.
On 19th September 1737 Charles Dalston 4th Baronet [aged 19] was promoted to midshipman and sent to join the 20-gun frigate HMS Dursley Galley, which was also part of the fleet.
On 20th October 1738 Charles Dalston 4th Baronet [aged 20] returned to Gloucester as a volunteer on 12 October, and became a midshipman again, this time still on Gloucester.
On 7th March 1765 Charles Dalston 4th Baronet [aged 46] died. Baronet Dalston of Dalston extinct.
