Paternal Family Tree: Abdy
On 14th August 1610 [his father] Anthony Abdy [aged 30] and [his mother] Abigail Campbell [aged 26] were married at the Church of St Mary Aldermary.
On or before 18th May 1612 Thomas Abdy 1st Baronet was born to Anthony Abdy [aged 32] and Abigail Campbell [aged 28].
On 1st February 1638 Thomas Abdy 1st Baronet [aged 25] and Mary Corsellis were married at St Peter le Poer Church, Broad Street.
In 1640 [his mother] Abigail Campbell [aged 56] died.
On 10th September 1640 [his father] Anthony Abdy [aged 60] died. Thomas Abdy 1st Baronet [aged 28] inherited Felix Hall, Essex.
On 14th July 1641 King Charles I of England, Scotland and Ireland [aged 40] created new Baronets:
John Cotton 1st Baronet [aged 25] was created 1st Baronet Cotton of Landwade in Cambridgeshire.
Thomas Abdy 1st Baronet [aged 29] was created 1st Baronet Abdy of Felix Hall in Kelveden in Essex.
John Bampfylde 1st Baronet [aged 31] was created 1st Baronet Bampfylde of Poltimore in Devon.
On 29 or 30th July 1641 William Strickland 1st Baronet [aged 45] was created 1st Baronet Strickland of Boynton in Yorkshire. Frances Finch Lady Strickland by marriage Lady Strickland of Boynton in Yorkshire.
On 6th April 1645 [his wife] Mary Corsellis died.
On 16th January 1647 Thomas Abdy 1st Baronet [aged 34] and Anne Soame Lady Abdy were married at St Bartholomew the Less. She by marriage Lady Abdy of Felix Hall in Kelveden in Essex. They had ten children.
Around 4th July 1655 [his son] Anthony Abdy 2nd Baronet was born to Thomas Abdy 1st Baronet [aged 43].
On 16th June 1679 [his wife] Anne Soame Lady Abdy died.
On 14th January 1686 Thomas Abdy 1st Baronet [aged 73] died. His son Anthony [aged 30] succeeded 2nd Baronet Abdy of Felix Hall in Kelveden in Essex.
