On 30th May 1767 William Craven 6th Baron Craven [aged 28] and Elizabeth Berkeley Margrave Brandenburg-Ansbach 1750-1828 [aged 16] were married. She the daughter of Augustus Berkeley 4th Earl Berkeley 1715-1755 and Elizabeth Drax Countess Berkeley and Nugent [aged 47].
On 17th March 1769 [his grandfather] William Craven 5th Baron Craven 1705-1769 [aged 63] died. His succeeded grandson William [aged 30] succeeded 6th Baron Craven of Hamstead Marshall in Berkshire. [his wife] Elizabeth Berkeley Margrave Brandenburg-Ansbach 1750-1828 [aged 18] by marriage Baroness Craven of Hamstead Marshall in Berkshire.
On 28th September 1770 [his son] William Craven 1st Earl Craven was born to William Craven 6th Baron Craven [aged 32] and [his wife] Elizabeth Berkeley Margrave Brandenburg-Ansbach 1750-1828 [aged 19]. He a great x 3 grandson of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland. He married 12th December 1807 Louisa Brunton Countess Craven and had issue.
In 1776 [his son] Henry Augustus Berkeley Craven 1776- was born to William Craven 6th Baron Craven [aged 37] and [his wife] Elizabeth Berkeley Margrave Brandenburg-Ansbach 1750-1828 [aged 25]. He a great x 3 grandson of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.
In 1779 [his son] Keppel Richard Craven 1779- was born to William Craven 6th Baron Craven [aged 40] and [his wife] Elizabeth Berkeley Margrave Brandenburg-Ansbach 1750-1828 [aged 28]. He a great x 3 grandson of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.
In 1780 William Craven 6th Baron Craven [aged 41] built Craven Cottage.

On 26th September 1791 William Craven 6th Baron Craven [aged 53] died at Lausanne, Switzerland. His succeeded son William [aged 20] succeeded 7th Baron Craven of Hamstead Marshall in Berkshire. His succeeded son William succeeded 8th Baron Craven of Hamstead Marshall in Berkshire.
On 13th October 1791 Charles Alexander Hohenzollern Margrave Brandenburg-Ansbach [aged 55] and [his former wife] Elizabeth Berkeley Margrave Brandenburg-Ansbach 1750-1828 [aged 40] were married at Lisbon [Map]. She by marriage Margravine Brandenburg-Ansbach. She the daughter of Augustus Berkeley 4th Earl Berkeley 1715-1755 and [his former mother-in-law] Elizabeth Drax Countess Berkeley and Nugent [aged 71]. They were fifth cousins. He a great x 4 grandson of King James I of England and Ireland and VI of Scotland. She a great x 2 granddaughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.
On 13th January 1828 [his former wife] Elizabeth Berkeley Margrave Brandenburg-Ansbach 1750-1828 [aged 77] died.
[his daughter] Maria Margaret Craven Countess Sefton was born to William Craven 6th Baron Craven and Elizabeth Berkeley Margrave Brandenburg-Ansbach 1750-1828. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland. She married 1792 her half fourth cousin William "Lord Dashalong" Molyneux 2nd Earl Sefton 1772-1838, son of Charles Molyneux 1st Earl Sefton 1748-1795 and Isabella Stanhope Countess Sefton 1748-1819, and had issue.
[his daughter] Arabella Craven was born to William Craven 6th Baron Craven and Elizabeth Berkeley Margrave Brandenburg-Ansbach 1750-1828. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland. She married 6th April 1793 Frederick St John 1765-1844, son of Frederick St John 3rd Viscount St John 2nd Viscount Bolingbroke 1732-1787 and Diana Spencer Viscountess St John and Bolingbroke 1734-1808, and had issue.
[his daughter] Elizabeth Craven was born to William Craven 6th Baron Craven and Elizabeth Berkeley Margrave Brandenburg-Ansbach 1750-1828. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland. She married John Edward Maddocks.
William of Worcester's Chronicle of England
William of Worcester, born around 1415, and died around 1482 was secretary to John Fastolf, the renowned soldier of the Hundred Years War, during which time he collected documents, letters, and wrote a record of events. Following their return to England in 1440 William was witness to major events. Twice in his chronicle he uses the first person: 1. when writing about the murder of Thomas, 7th Baron Scales, in 1460, he writes '… and I saw him lying naked in the cemetery near the porch of the church of St. Mary Overie in Southwark …' and 2. describing King Edward IV's entry into London in 1461 he writes '… proclaimed that all the people themselves were to recognize and acknowledge Edward as king. I was present and heard this, and immediately went down with them into the city'. William’s Chronicle is rich in detail. It is the source of much information about the Wars of the Roses, including the term 'Diabolical Marriage' to describe the marriage of Queen Elizabeth Woodville’s brother John’s marriage to Katherine, Dowager Duchess of Norfolk, he aged twenty, she sixty-five or more, and the story about a paper crown being placed in mockery on the severed head of Richard, 3rd Duke of York.
