The Deeds of the Dukes of Normandy

The Gesta Normannorum Ducum [The Deeds of the Dukes of Normandy] is a landmark medieval chronicle tracing the rise and fall of the Norman dynasty from its early roots through the pivotal events surrounding the Norman Conquest of England. Originally penned in Latin by the monk William of Jumièges shortly before 1060 and later expanded at the behest of William the Conqueror, the work chronicles the deeds, politics, battles, and leadership of the Norman dukes, especially William’s own claim to the English throne. In or before 1651 Thomas Allin 1st Baronet [aged 38] and [his mother] Alice Whiting were married.

Around 1651 Thomas Allin 2nd Baronet was born to Thomas Allin 1st Baronet [aged 39] and Alice Whiting.

On or after 16th December 1672 Thomas Allin 2nd Baronet [aged 21] and Mary Colwall were married. The license was dated 16th December 1672.

On 12th November 1678 Thomas Allin 2nd Baronet [aged 27] was elected MP Dunwich.

In March 1679 Thomas Allin 2nd Baronet [aged 28] was elected MP Dunwich.

In 1685 Thomas Allin 1st Baronet [aged 73] died. His son Thomas [aged 34] succeeded 2nd Baronet Allin of Blundeston in Suffolk.

In 1696 Thomas Allin 2nd Baronet [aged 45] died. Baronet Allin of Blundeston in Suffolk extinct. His nephew Richard Anguish aka Allin 1st Baronet [aged 37] inherited his estates and changed his name from Anguish to Allin.
