On 9th June 1774 Christopher Wordsworth was born to John Wordsworth and Ann Cookson at Wordsworth House.

In 1783 [his father] John Wordsworth died. [his sister] Dorothy Wordsworth [aged 11] was sent to live with her aunt Elizabeth Threlkeld in Halifax.

In 1798 Christopher Wordsworth [aged 23] became a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge University [Map].

In 1802 [his brother] William Wordsworth [aged 31] and [his sister-in-law] Mary Hutchinson were married.

In 1804 Christopher Wordsworth [aged 29] and Priscilla Lloyd were married.

On 30th October 1807 [his son] Bishop Christopher Wordsworth was born to Christopher Wordsworth [aged 33] and [his wife] Priscilla Lloyd.

In 1810 Christopher Wordsworth [aged 35] published an Ecclesiastical Biography in 6 volumes.

In 1810 Christopher Wordsworth [aged 35] received his Doctor of Divinity degree.

In 1815 [his wife] Priscilla Lloyd died.

Jean de Waurin's Chronicle of England Volume 6 Books 3-6: The Wars of the Roses

Jean de Waurin was a French Chronicler, from the Artois region, who was born around 1400, and died around 1474. Waurin’s Chronicle of England, Volume 6, covering the period 1450 to 1471, from which we have selected and translated Chapters relating to the Wars of the Roses, provides a vivid, original, contemporary description of key events some of which he witnessed first-hand, some of which he was told by the key people involved with whom Waurin had a personal relationship.

In 1820 Christopher Wordsworth [aged 45] was appointed Master of Trinity College, Cambridge University [Map] which position he held until 1846 when he resigned.

On 2nd February 1846 Christopher Wordsworth [aged 71] died at Buxted.
