Deeds of King Henry V

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

James Praed 1655-1706

Around 1655 James Praed was born to James Praed.

On 27th June 1671 James Praed [aged 16] was educated at Exeter College, Oxford University.

In 1681 James Praed [aged 26] was elected MP St Ives.

In 1687 [his father] James Praed died.

In 1689 James Praed [aged 34] was elected MP St Ives.

In May 1694 Bourchier Wrey 4th Baronet [aged 41] duelled with James Praed [aged 39]. He was run through the body, Praed being only hurt slightly in the face at Falmouth, Cornwall.

In 1706 James Praed [aged 51] died.
