In 1622 Edward Yate 1st Baronet [aged 47] was created 1st Baronet Yate of Buckland in Berkshire.

In 1645 Edward Yate 1st Baronet [aged 70] died. His son John [aged 40] succeeded 2nd Baronet Yate of Buckland in Berkshire.

In 1658 John Yate 2nd Baronet [aged 53] died. His son Charles [aged 24] succeeded 3rd Baronet Yate of Buckland in Berkshire.

Before 1668 Charles Yate 3rd Baronet [aged 33] and Frances Gage Lady Yate [aged 17] were married. She by marriage Lady Yate of Buckland in Berkshire.

In 1680 Charles Yate 3rd Baronet [aged 46] died. His son John succeeded 4th Baronet Yate of Buckland in Berkshire.

Around 1690 John Yate 4th Baronet died. Baronet Yate of Buckland in Berkshire extinct.

The London Gazette 32178. 1st January 1921. The KING has been graciously pleased to signify His Majesty's intention of conferring Baronetcies of the United Kingdom on the following:

Rowland Frederick William Hodge [aged 61], Esq., Founder Northumberland Shipbuilding Company; Chairman of Eltringhams, Ltd. For public service, particularly in connection with shipbuilding.

Charles Edward Yate [aged 71]Baronet Yate of Madeley Hall in Shropshire, C.S.I., C.M.G., D.L., M.P., Member of Parliament for Menton Division. For public services.

On 29th February 1940 Charles Edward Yate 1st Baronet [aged 90] died. Baronet Yate of Madeley Hall in Shropshire extinct.
