The Deeds of the Dukes of Normandy
The Gesta Normannorum Ducum [The Deeds of the Dukes of Normandy] is a landmark medieval chronicle tracing the rise and fall of the Norman dynasty from its early roots through the pivotal events surrounding the Norman Conquest of England. He the son of George Hamilton-Gordon 4th Earl Aberdeen and Harriet Douglas Countess Aberdeen. On 14th December 1860 George Hamilton-Gordon 4th Earl Aberdeen died. His son George succeeded 5th Earl Aberdeen. She by marriage Countess Aberdeen. On 3rd April 1900 Mary Bailie-Hamilton Countess Aberdeen died.
On 13th November 1872 Margaret Sarah Carpenter nee Geddes [aged 79] died.
