In 1913 George Kemp 1st Baron Rochdale [aged 46] was created 1st Baron Rochdale of Rochdale in Lancashire. Beatrice Mary Egerton Baroness Rochdale [aged 41] by marriage Baroness Rochdale of Rochdale in Lancashire.

On 24th March 1945 George Kemp 1st Baron Rochdale [aged 78] died. His son John [aged 38] succeeded 2nd Baron Rochdale of Rochdale in Lancashire.

On 24th May 1993 John Kemp 1st Viscount Rochdale [aged 86] died. His son St John [aged 55] succeeded 2nd Viscount Rochdale of Rochdale in County Palatine of Lancaster, 3rd Baron Rochdale of Rochdale in Lancashire.

In 2015 St John Durival Kemp 2nd Viscount Rochdale [aged 77] died. His son Jonathan [aged 53] succeeded 3rd Viscount Rochdale of Rochdale in County Palatine of Lancaster, 4th Baron Rochdale of Rochdale in Lancashire.
