In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness. This book presents a new translation of that letter, with additional material from other contemporary sources such as Letters, Hall's and Wriothesley's Chronicles, the pamphlets of Wynkyn the Worde, the Memorial of George Constantyne, the Portuguese Letter and the Baga de Secrets, all of which are provided in Appendices.

On 19th February 1658 Henry Wilmot 1st Earl Rochester [aged 45] died at Sluys [Map]. He was buried in Bruges [Map]. After the Restoration his remains were reburied in All Saints Church, Spelsbury [Map]. His son John [aged 10] succeeded 2nd Earl Rochester, 2nd Viscount Wilmot.

George Henry Lee 3rd Earl Lichfield: On 21st May 1718 he was born to George Henry Lee 2nd Earl Lichfield and Frances Hales Countess Lichfield at Windsor Castle [Map]. He a great grandson of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland. On 16th January 1745 he and Dinah Frankland Countess Lichfield were married. He the son of George Henry Lee 2nd Earl Lichfield and Frances Hales Countess Lichfield. On 19th September 1772 he died. His uncle Robert succeeded 4th Earl Lichfield, 8th Baronet Lee of Quarrendon in Buckinghamshire.

Dinah Frankland Countess Lichfield: In 1719 she was born to Thomas Frankland 3rd Baronet and Dinah Topham Lady Thirkleby. On 8th January 1779 she died.

On 24th July 1832 Henry Augustus Dillon Lee 13th Viscount Dillon [aged 54] died. His son Charles [aged 22] succeeded 14th Viscount Dillon of Costello Gallen in Mayo.

Henry Augustus Dillon Lee 13th Viscount Dillon: On 28th October 1777 he was born to Charles Dillon Lee 12th Viscount Dillon and Henrietta Maria Phipps at Brussels [Map]. He a great x 3 grandson of King James II of England Scotland and Ireland. On 9th November 1813 Charles Dillon Lee 12th Viscount Dillon died. His son Henry succeeded 13th Viscount Dillon of Costello Gallen in Mayo.

Charles Henry Dillon 14th Viscount Dillon: On 20th April 1810 he was born to Henry Augustus Dillon Lee 13th Viscount Dillon at Dublin [Map]. He a great x 4 grandson of King James II of England Scotland and Ireland.
