On 2nd August 1873 [his wife] Rosa Bignold [aged 47] died.
On 1st February 1876 Bishop Edward Bickersteth [aged 51] and Ellen Susanna Bickersteth [aged 45] were married. They were first cousins.
In 1885 Bishop Edward Bickersteth [aged 59] was appointed Dean of Gloucester.
In 1885 Bishop Edward Bickersteth [aged 59] was appointed Bishop of Exeter.

On 16th May 1906 Bishop Edward Bickersteth [aged 81] died.
Anne Boleyn. Her Life as told by Lancelot de Carle's 1536 Letter.
In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness.
