On 7th February 1853 [his father] Edward Joseph Bellew 2nd Baron Bellew (age 22) and [his mother] Augusta Mary Bryan (age 19) were married.
On 22nd January 1857 George Leopold Bryan aka Bellew 4th Baron Bellew was born to [his father] Edward Joseph Bellew 2nd Baron Bellew (age 26) and [his mother] Augusta Mary Bryan (age 23).
On 13th October 1880 George Leopold Bryan aka Bellew 4th Baron Bellew (age 23) changed his surname from Bellew to Bryan in accordance with the will of his uncle George Leopold Bryan.
On 10th August 1883 [his brother] Charles Bertram Bellew 3rd Baron Bellew (age 28) and [his sister-in-law] Mildred Mary Josephine de Trafford Baroness Bellow (age 27) were married at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Barton-upon-Irwell.
Between 1884 and 1885 George Leopold Bryan aka Bellew 4th Baron Bellew (age 26) fought in the Nile Expedition.
On 10th December 1886 [his grandfather] Patrick Bellew 1st Baron Bellew (age 88) died. His son [his father] Edward (age 56) succeeded 2nd Baron Bellew of Barmeath in Louth, 8th Baronet Bellew of Barmeath in Louth.
On 28th July 1895 [his father] Edward Joseph Bellew 2nd Baron Bellew (age 65) died at Kaiserhof, Frankfurt-am-Main-Bad Mannheim. His son [his brother] Charles (age 40) succeeded 3rd Baron Bellew of Barmeath in Louth, 9th Baronet Bellew of Barmeath in Louth. [his sister-in-law] Mildred Mary Josephine de Trafford Baroness Bellow (age 39) by marriage Baroness Bellew of Barmeath in Louth.
William of Worcester's Chronicle of England
William of Worcester, born around 1415, and died around 1482 was secretary to John Fastolf, the renowned soldier of the Hundred Years War, during which time he collected documents, letters, and wrote a record of events. Following their return to England in 1440 William was witness to major events. Twice in his chronicle he uses the first person: 1. when writing about the murder of Thomas, 7th Baron Scales, in 1460, he writes '… and I saw him lying naked in the cemetery near the porch of the church of St. Mary Overie in Southwark …' and 2. describing King Edward IV's entry into London in 1461 he writes '… proclaimed that all the people themselves were to recognize and acknowledge Edward as king. I was present and heard this, and immediately went down with them into the city'. William’s Chronicle is rich in detail. It is the source of much information about the Wars of the Roses, including the term 'Diabolical Marriage' to describe the marriage of Queen Elizabeth Woodville’s brother John’s marriage to Katherine, Dowager Duchess of Norfolk, he aged twenty, she sixty-five or more, and the story about a paper crown being placed in mockery on the severed head of Richard, 3rd Duke of York.

On 11th May 1904 [his mother] Augusta Mary Bryan (age 70) died.
On 15th July 1911 [his brother] Charles Bertram Bellew 3rd Baron Bellew (age 56) died at Barmouth Castle without issue. His brother George (age 54) succeeded 4th Baron Bellew of Barmeath in Louth, 10th Baronet Bellew of Barmeath in Louth.
On 15th June 1935 George Leopold Bryan aka Bellew 4th Baron Bellew (age 78) died without issue. His nephew Edward (age 46) succeeded 5th Baron Bellew of Barmeath in Louth, 11th Baronet Bellew of Barmeath in Louth.
