She by marriage Countess Beauchamp. The difference in their ages was 22 years. She the daughter of Sydney William Herbert Pierrepont 3rd Earl Manvers (age 43). He the son of [his grandfather] Henry Beauchamp Lygon 4th Earl Beauchamp and [his grandmother] Susan Caroline Eliot. They were fourth cousin once removed.

On 19th February 1891 [his father] Frederick Lygon 6th Earl Beauchamp (age 60) died. His son William (age 18) succeeded 7th Earl Beauchamp, 7th Viscount Elmley of Worcestershire, 7th Baron Beauchamp Powick in Worcestershire.

On 6th October 1894 [his brother-in-law] Oliver Russell 2nd Baron Ampthill (age 25) and [his sister] Margaret Lygon Baroness Ampthill (age 19) were married. She by marriage Baroness Ampthill of Ampthill in Bedfordshire. She the daughter of [his father] Frederick Lygon 6th Earl Beauchamp and [his mother] Mary Catherine Stanhope Countess Beauchamp. They were fourth cousin once removed. He a great x 5 grandson of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.

On 22nd February 1912 [his daughter] Dorothy Lygon was born to William Lygon 7th Earl Beauchamp (age 40) and [his wife] Lettice Mary Elizabeth Grosvenor Countess Beauchamp (age 35). She married 1985 Robert Vernon "The Mad Boy" Heber Percy.

On 25th December 1916 [his son] Richard Edward Lygon was born to William Lygon 7th Earl Beauchamp (age 44) and [his wife] Lettice Mary Elizabeth Grosvenor Countess Beauchamp (age 40).

On 19th December 1919 [his brother-in-law] Hugh "Bendor" Grosvenor 2nd Duke Westminster (age 40) and Constance Edwina "Shelagh" Cornwallis-West Duchess Westminster (age 44) were divorced on the grounds of his desertion and misconduct, with the decree being made absolute 19 December 1919. The alimony settlement of £13,000 a year he made upon her, which she declined, was then the largest in British legal history.

On 19th August 1936 [his son] Hugh Patrick Lygon (age 31) died.
