On or before 10th March 1618 John Burgoyne 2nd Baronet was born to John Burgoyne 1st Baronet [aged 26] and Jane Kempe. He was baptised at Wroxall, Warwickshire on 10th March 1618.
On 22nd October 1634 John Burgoyne 2nd Baronet [aged 16] was admitted to Emmanuel College, Cambridge University.
On 22nd November 1637 John Burgoyne 2nd Baronet [aged 19] was admitted to Lincoln's Inn.
In 1641 John Burgoyne 2nd Baronet [aged 22] was elected MP Bedfordshire in the Long Parliament.
Around 1645 John Burgoyne 2nd Baronet [aged 26] and Anne Snelling Lady Burgoyne were married.
Around 1651 [his son] John Burgoyne 3rd Baronet was born to John Burgoyne 2nd Baronet [aged 32] and [his wife] Anne Snelling Lady Burgoyne. He married 18th July 1677 Constance Lucy Lady Burgoyne and had issue.
In 1656 John Burgoyne 2nd Baronet [aged 37] was elected MP Warwickshire.
In 1657 [his father] John Burgoyne 1st Baronet [aged 64] died. His son John [aged 38] succeeded 2nd Baronet Burgoyne of Sutton in Bedfordshire. [his wife] Anne Snelling Lady Burgoyne by marriage Lady Burgoyne of Sutton in Bedfordshire.
On 1st April 1658 [his wife] Anne Snelling Lady Burgoyne died.
On 20th August 1660 John Burgoyne 2nd Baronet [aged 42] and Anne Robinson Lady Burgoyne were married. She by marriage Lady Burgoyne of Sutton in Bedfordshire.
Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough
A canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: 'In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed.'

On 18th July 1677 [his son] John Burgoyne 3rd Baronet [aged 26] and [his daughter-in-law] Constance Lucy Lady Burgoyne [aged 18] were married.
On 16th September 1677 John Burgoyne 2nd Baronet [aged 59] died. He was buried at All Saint's Church, Sutton. His son John [aged 26] succeeded 3rd Baronet Burgoyne of Sutton in Bedfordshire. Constance Lucy Lady Burgoyne [aged 18] by marriage Lady Burgoyne of Sutton in Bedfordshire.
On 5th February 1693 [his former wife] Anne Robinson Lady Burgoyne died.
