On 16th September 1581 Samuel Backhouse [aged 26] and Elisabeth Borlase were married.
From 1593 until his death Samuel Backhouse [aged 38] was Justice of the Peace Berkshire.
On 17th January 1593 [his son] William Backhouse was born to Samuel Backhouse [aged 38] and [his wife] Elisabeth Borlase. He married 1637 Anne Richards and had issue.
In 1600 Samuel Backhouse [aged 45] was High Sheriff of Berkshire during which time he was visited by Queen Elizabeth I of England and Ireland [aged 66].
In 1604 Samuel Backhouse [aged 49] was elected MP New Windsor.
In 1614 Samuel Backhouse [aged 59] was elected MP Ayslesbury in the Addled Parliament.
On 24th June 1626 Samuel Backhouse [aged 71] died.
[his son] John Backhouse was born to Samuel Backhouse and Elisabeth Borlase.
