On 25th October 1601 John Frederick was born.
In 1650 [his son] Thomas Frederick was born to John Frederick [aged 48]. He married in or before 1678 Leonora Maresco and had issue.
In 1654 John Frederick [aged 52] was elected Master of the Worshipful Company of Barber Surgeons.
In 1658 John Frederick [aged 56] was elected Master of the Worshipful Company of Barber Surgeons.
In 1660 John Frederick [aged 58] was elected MP Dartmouth.
On 26th June 1660 John Frederick [aged 58] was knighted.
In 1661 John Frederick [aged 59] was elected Alderman of Coleman Street Ward.
In 1661 John Frederick [aged 59] was elected Lord Mayor of London.
Samuel Pepys' Diary. 16th May 1667. Among other things Sir John Fredericke [aged 65] and Sir R. Ford [aged 53] did talk of Paul's School, which, they tell me, must be taken away; and then I fear it will be long before another place, as they say is promised, is found; but they do say that the honour of their company is concerned in the doing of it, and that it is a thing that they are obliged to do.
Abbot John Whethamstede’s Chronicle of the Abbey of St Albans
Abbot John Whethamstede's Register aka Chronicle of his second term at the Abbey of St Albans, 1451-1461, is a remarkable text that describes his first-hand experience of the beginning of the Wars of the Roses including the First and Second Battles of St Albans, 1455 and 1461, respectively, their cause, and their consequences, not least on the Abbey itself. His text also includes Loveday, Blore Heath, Northampton, the Act of Accord, Wakefield, and Towton, and ends with the Coronation of King Edward IV. In addition to the events of the Wars of the Roses, Abbot John, or his scribes who wrote the Chronicle, include details in the life of the Abbey such as charters, letters, land exchanges, visits by legates, and disputes, which provide a rich insight into the day-to-day life of the Abbey, and the challenges faced by its Abbot.

Samuel Pepys' Diary. 30th April 1668. Up, and at the office all the morning. At noon Sir J. Minnes [aged 69] and I to the Dolphin Tavern, there to meet our neighbours, all of the Parish, this being Procession-day, to dine. And did; and much very good discourse; they being, most of them, very able merchants as any in the City: Sir Andrew Rickard [aged 64], Mr. Vandeputt, Sir John Fredericke [aged 66], Harrington, and others. They talked with Mr. Mills about the meaning of this day, and the good uses of it; and how heretofore, and yet in several places, they do whip a boy at each place they stop at in their procession.
In or before 1678 [his son] Thomas Frederick [aged 27] and [his daughter-in-law] Leonora Maresco were married.
Before 19th March 1685 John Frederick [aged 83] died. he was buried on 19th March 1685.
[his daughter] Elizabeth Frederick was born to John Frederick.
