In 1309 Henry Beaumont Earl Buchan was created 1st Baron Beaumont.

Before 14th July 1310 Henry Beaumont Earl Buchan and Alice Comyn 4th Countess Buchan were married. She by marriage Baroness Beaumont. He by marriage Earl Buchan.

On 10th March 1340 Henry Beaumont Earl Buchan died at Buchan. John Beaumont 2nd Baron Beaumont succeeded 2nd Baron Beaumont. Eleanor Plantagenet Countess Arundel and Surrey by marriage Baroness Beaumont.

On 10th May 1342 John Beaumont 2nd Baron Beaumont was killed in a tournament. Henry Beaumont 3rd Baron Beaumont succeeded 3rd Baron Beaumont.

Before 1361 Henry Beaumont 3rd Baron Beaumont and Margaret Vere Baroness Devereux and Beaumont were married. She by marriage Baroness Beaumont. She the daughter of John de Vere 7th Earl of Oxford and Maud Badlesmere Countess of Oxford. He the son of John Beaumont 2nd Baron Beaumont and Eleanor Plantagenet Countess Arundel and Surrey.

On or before 17th June 1369 Henry Beaumont 3rd Baron Beaumont died at Sempringham Priory. John Beaumont 4th Baron Beaumont succeeded 4th Baron Beaumont.

Before 1387 Henry Beaumont 5th Baron Beaumont and Elizabeth Willoughby Baroness Beaumont were married. She by marriage Baroness Beaumont.

In 1389 John Beaumont 4th Baron Beaumont and Katherine Everingham Baroness Beaumont were married. She by marriage Baroness Beaumont.

On 9th September 1396 John Beaumont 4th Baron Beaumont died. Henry Beaumont 5th Baron Beaumont succeeded 5th Baron Beaumont.

In June 1413 Henry Beaumont 5th Baron Beaumont died at Sempringham. John Beaumont 1st Viscount Beaumont succeeded 6th Baron Beaumont.

On 10th July 1460 the Yorkist army led by the future King Edward IV of England and including Richard "Kingmaker" Neville Earl Warwick, 6th Earl Salisbury, Archbishop George Neville, William Neville 1st Earl Kent, Edward Brooke 6th Baron Cobham and John Scrope 5th Baron Scrope of Bolton defeated the Lancastrian army at the 1460 Battle of Northampton.

Edmund Grey 1st Earl Kent had started the day as part of the Lancastrian army but did nothing to prevent the Yorkist army attacking.

King Henry VI of England and II of France was captured.

Humphrey Stafford 1st Duke of Buckingham was killed. Henry Stafford 2nd Duke of Buckingham succeeded 2nd Duke of Buckingham, 7th Earl Stafford, 8th Baron Stafford.

John Talbot 2nd Earl of Shrewsbury was killed. John Talbot 3rd Earl of Shrewsbury succeeded 3rd Earl of Shrewsbury, 3rd Earl Waterford, 8th Baron Furnivall, 12th Baron Strange Blackmere, 9th Baron Talbot.

Thomas Percy 1st Baron Egremont was killed. [Baron Egremont of Egremont Castle in Cumberland extinct. Some authoirities state, however, that he left a son, Sir John Percy, who never assumed the title.]

John Beaumont 1st Viscount Beaumont was killed. William Beaumont 2nd Viscount Beaumont succeeded 2nd Viscount Beaumont, 7th Baron Beaumont.

William Lucy was killed apparently by servants of a member of the Stafford family who wanted his wife Margaret Fitzlewis.

Thomas Tresham fought.

William Beaumont 2nd Viscount Beaumont and William Norreys were knighted.

Thomas "Bastard of Exeter" Holland was executed following the battle.

The battle was fought south of the River Nene in the grounds of Delapré Abbey.

On 19th December 1507 William Beaumont 2nd Viscount Beaumont died at Wivenhoe, Essex where he was buried. Viscount Beaumont extinct. Baron Beaumont and Baron Bardolf of Wormegay in Norfolk abeyant between his two nieces Joanne Lovell and Frideswell Lovell. The issue of Frideswell Lovell were disbarred from succeededing when her son Henry Norreys was attainted. The issue of Joanne Lovell included his great nephews including Henry Norreys, George Stapleton and great-great nephew Brian Stapleton. The title of Baron Beaumont was called out of abeyance in 1840 for Miles Thomas Stapleton 8th Baron Beaumont, a descendant of Brian Stapleton and an 11 x great-nephew of William Beaumont.

In 1840 Miles Thomas Stapleton 8th Baron Beaumont abeyance terminated 8th Baron Beaumont. He was an 11 x great newphew of the 7th Baron William Beaumont 2nd Viscount Beaumont.

On 9th September 1844 Miles Thomas Stapleton 8th Baron Beaumont and Isabella Anne Browne Baroness Beaumont were married at St George's Church, Hanover Square. She by marriage Baroness Beaumont. The difference in their ages was 20 years.

In 1854 Miles Thomas Stapleton 8th Baron Beaumont died at Bruton Street. Henry Stapleton 9th Baron Beaumont succeeded 9th Baron Beaumont.

On 23rd January 1892 Henry Stapleton 9th Baron Beaumont died without issue. Miles Stapleton 10th Baron Beaumont succeeded 10th Baron Beaumont.

On 16th September 1895 Miles Stapleton 10th Baron Beaumont died without male issue. Baron Beaumont abeyant between his two infant daughters Mona Stapleton 11th Baroness Beaumont and Baroness Howard and Ivy Mary Stapleton, the latter being born three weeks after his death.

On 1st June 1896 Mona Stapleton 11th Baroness Beaumont and Baroness Howard abeyance terminated 11th Baroness Beaumont.

On 24th June 2002 Miles Stapleton Fitzalan Howard 17th Duke of Norfolk died. Edward Fitzalan-Howard 18th Duke of Norfolk succeeded 18th Duke Norfolk, 36th Earl Arundel, 19th Earl Surrey, 16th Earl Norfolk, 26th Baron Maltravers, 26th Baron Arundel, 5th Baron Howard of Glossop in Derbyshire, 13th Baron Beaumont.
