23rd December 1734. 5th. Brother Thomas Newport 4th Earl Bradford [aged 38] succeeded.

18th April 1762. 5th. Thomas Newport 4th Earl Bradford extinct.

On 14th October 1642 Richard Newport 1st Baron Newport [aged 55] was created 1st Baron Newport of High Ercall in Shropshire; by King Charles I of England, Scotland and Ireland [aged 41] in return for having provided £6000 for the purchase of artillery before the Battle of Edge Hill.

On 23rd December 1734 Henry Newport 3rd Earl Bradford [aged 51] died at St James's Palace [Map]. He was buried at Westminster Abbey [Map] on 20th January 1734. His brother Thomas [aged 38] succeeded 4th Earl Bradford, 4th Viscount Newport of Bradford in Shropshire, 5th Baron Newport of High Ercall in Shropshire.
