On 3rd August 1515 Thomas Butler 7th Earl Ormonde [aged 89] died. His succeeded first cousin twice removed Piers [aged 48] succeeded 8th Earl Ormonde. Margaret Fitzgerald Countess Ormonde and Ossory by marriage Countess Ormonde.
On 28th January 1571 Anne Bourchier 7th Baroness Bourchier [aged 54] died from a fall from a horse at Benington, Hertfordshire. Her succeeded first cousin twice removed Walter [aged 29] succeeded 8th Baron Bourchier. Lettice Knollys Countess Essex and Leicester [aged 27] by marriage Baroness Bourchier.

Immediately following her death Robert Carey 1st Earl Monmouth [aged 43] started on horseback for Edinburgh to inform King James I of England and Ireland and VI of Scotland arriving at Holyrood Palace [Map] late on the 26 Mar 1603. His conduct met with general disapproval and merited censure as contrary to all decency, good manners and respect. George Carew and Thomas Lake [aged 35] were sent by the Council to formally inform James of her death.
On 4th August 1637 Henry Stafford 5th Baron Stafford [aged 15] died. His succeeded first cousin twice removed Roger Stafford 6th Baron Stafford [aged 65] succeeded 6th Baron Stafford. His succession was disputed. Roger petitioned Parliament for the title, at the age of sixty-five. A commission was appointed to examine his claim, headed by Henry Montagu, 1st Earl of Manchester. Eventually, the claim reached King Charles I who denied it on grounds of Stafford's poverty. The judgment read "that the said Roger Stafford, having no part of the inheritance of the said Lord Stafford, nor any other lands or means whatsoever…should make a resignation of all claims and title to the said Barony of Stafford, for his majesty to dispose of as he should see fit". He surrendered the title by deed on 7 December 1639 for a sum of £800

On 31st August 1700 William Savile 2nd Marquess Halifax [aged 35] died without male issue. Marquess Halifax, Earl Halifax, Viscount Halifax and Baron Savile of Elland extinct. His succeeded first cousin twice removed John Savile 6th Baronet [aged 50] succeeded 6th Baronet Savile of Thornhill

In 1743 Mordaunt Lawson 5th Baronet [aged 10] died. His succeeded first cousin twice removed Gilfrid [aged 68] succeeded 6th Baronet Lawson of Isel Hall in Cumbria.
In 1745 Martha Lovelace 8th Baroness Wentworth [aged 78] died. Her succeeded first cousin twice removed Edward [aged 29] succeeded 9th Baron Wentworth. Her succeeded first cousin twice removed Edward de jure 13th Baron Despencer.
On 2nd September 1760 Henry L'Estrange 6th Baronet died. His succeeded first cousin twice removed Roger L'Estrange 7th Baronet [aged 78] succeeded 7th Baronet Strange of Hunstanton in Norfolk.
In 1841 John Twisden 8th Baronet [aged 57] died. His succeeded first cousin twice removed William Twisden 9th Baronet [aged 22] succeeded 9th Baronet Twisden of Bradbourne in Kent although he appears to not have used the title.

On 5th February 1984 Henry Hugh Arthur Fitzroy Somerset 10th Duke Beaufort [aged 83] died at Badminton House without issue. He was buried at St Michael and all Angels Church, Badminton. His succeeded first cousin twice removed David Fitzroy 11th Duke Beaufort [aged 55] succeeded 11th Duke Beaufort, 13th Marquess Worcester, 17th Earl Worcester, 19th Baron Herbert of Raglan.
