The King [aged 40] has been pleased to grant the Dignity of a Baronet of the Kingdom of Great Britain unto the following Gentlemen, and to their Heirs Male, viz.
The Right Honourable Richard Heron [aged 52], youngest Son of Robert Heron, of Newark upon Trent in the County of Nottingham, Esq; and in Default, of Issue to Thomas Heron [aged 48] of Chilham Castle in the County of Kent, Esq; eldest surviving Son and Heir Male of the said Robert Heron, and to his Heirs Male.

William James [aged 56], of Park Farm Place, Eltham, in the County of Kent, Esq;

On 2nd November 1780 George Wombwell 1st Baronet [aged 46] died. His son George [aged 11] succeeded 2nd Baronet Wombwell of Wombwell in Yorkshire.
On 28th October 1846 George Wombwell 2nd Baronet [aged 77] died. His son George [aged 54] succeeded 3rd Baronet Wombwell of Wombwell in Yorkshire.
On 14th January 1855 George Wombwell 3rd Baronet [aged 62] died. His son George [aged 22] succeeded 4th Baronet Wombwell of Wombwell in Yorkshire.
On 16th October 1913 George Orby Wombwell 4th Baronet [aged 80] died. He was buried at St Michael's Church, Coxwold, North Yorkshire [Map]. He was the last surviving officer of the Charge of the Light Brigade. His brother Henry [aged 73] succeeded 5th Baronet Wombwell of Wombwell in Yorkshire.
On 1st February 1926 Henry Herbert Wombwell 5th Baronet [aged 85] died. His great nephew Frederick [aged 15] succeeded 6th Baronet Wombwell of Wombwell in Yorkshire.
On 4th April 1977 Frederick Philip Wombwell 6th Baronet [aged 66] died. His son George [aged 27] succeeded 7th Baronet Wombwell of Wombwell in Yorkshire.
