On 27th January 1678 John Margetson [aged 22] and [his mother] Alice Caulfeild Baroness Carpenter [aged 17] were married. His sister Anne Margetson [aged 21] married her brother [his uncle] William Caulfeild 2nd Viscount Charlemont [aged 23] six months later.

On 23rd January 1693 [his father] George Carpenter 1st Baron Carpenter [aged 35] and [his mother] Alice Caulfeild Baroness Carpenter [aged 32] were married.

Around 1695 George Carpenter 2nd Baron Carpenter was born to George Carpenter 1st Baron Carpenter [aged 37] and Alice Caulfeild Baroness Carpenter [aged 34] at Ocle Pychard, Herefordshire.

In 1717 George Carpenter 2nd Baron Carpenter [aged 22] was elected MP Morpeth.

On 26th August 1722 George Carpenter 2nd Baron Carpenter [aged 27] and Elizabeth Petty Baroness Carpenter were married at Leyton, Essex.

On 26th August 1723 [his son] George Carpenter 1st Earl Tyrconnel was born to George Carpenter 2nd Baron Carpenter [aged 28] and [his wife] Elizabeth Petty Baroness Carpenter. He married March 1748 Frances Clifton Countess Tyrconnel, daughter of Robert Clifton 5th Baronet and Frances Coote Lady Clifton, and had issue.

Around 1726 [his daughter] Alicia Carpenter Countess Egremont was born to George Carpenter 2nd Baron Carpenter [aged 31] and [his wife] Elizabeth Petty Baroness Carpenter. She married 12th March 1751 Charles Wyndham 2nd Earl Egremont, son of William Wyndham 3rd Baronet and Catherine Seymour, and had issue.

On 7th October 1731 [his mother] Alice Caulfeild Baroness Carpenter [aged 70] died.

On 10th February 1732 [his father] George Carpenter 1st Baron Carpenter [aged 75] died. He was buried at St Andrew's Church, Owlesbury [Map]. His succeeded son George [aged 37] succeeded 2nd Baron Carpenter of Killaghy in County Tipperary. [his wife] Elizabeth Petty Baroness Carpenter by marriage Baroness Carpenter of Killaghy in County Tipperary.

In 1741 George Carpenter 2nd Baron Carpenter [aged 46] was elected MP Weobley.

In March 1748 [his son] George Carpenter 1st Earl Tyrconnel [aged 24] and [his daughter-in-law] Frances Clifton Countess Tyrconnel were married.

On 12th July 1749 George Carpenter 2nd Baron Carpenter [aged 54] died at Grosvenor Square, Belgravia. He was buried at St Andrew's Church, Owlesbury [Map]. His succeeded son George Carpenter 1st Earl Tyrconnel [aged 25] succeeded 3rd Baron Carpenter of Killaghy in County Tipperary.
