On 5th January 1382 Philippa Plantagenet Countess March 2nd Countess Ulster [aged 26] died at Cork [Map]. She was buried at Wigmore, Herefordshire [Map]. Her succeeded son Roger [aged 7] succeeded Heir to the Throne of England, 6th Earl of Ulster
In 1403 John Kynaston [aged 21] died at Cork [Map].
On 2nd July 1642 William St Leger [aged 56] died at Cork [Map].
Around 1668 Bishop Thomas Vesey 1st Baronet was born to Archbishop John Vesey [aged 29] and Anne Muschamp [aged 18] at Cork [Map]. He married before 6th August 1730 his first cousin Mary Muschamp and had issue.
On 9th October 1690 Henry Fitzroy 1st Duke Grafton [aged 27] was killed at Cork [Map] during the Storming of Cork. His succeeded son Charles [aged 6] succeeded 2nd Duke Grafton, 2nd Earl Euston, 2nd Viscount Ipswich, 2nd Baron Sudbury.
John Evelyn's Diary. 12th October 1690. The French General, with Tyrconnel [aged 60] and their forces, gone back to France, beaten out by King William. Cork [Map] delivered on discretion. The Duke of Grafton [deceased] was there mortally wounded and dies. Very great storms of wind. The 8th of this month Lord Spencer [aged 49] wrote me word from Althorpe [Map], that there happened an earthquake the day before in the morning, which, though short, sensibly shook the house. The "Gazette" acquainted us that the like happened at the same time, half-past seven, at Barnstaple, Devon, Holyhead, Anglesey, and Dublin [Map]. We were not sensible of it here.
Around 1759 Elizabeth Farren was born to George Farren at Cork [Map]. She married 1st May 1797 Edward Smith-Stanley 12th Earl of Derby and had issue.
On 10th April 1775 General William Loftus [aged 23] embarked at Cork [Map] for Boston, Massachusetts. He arrived on 24th May 1775.
On 17th December 1821 Archbishop William Connor Magee was born at Cork [Map].
Before 1672 John Vesey [aged 33] was appointed Archdeacon of Armagh and Dean of Cork.
Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

In 1607 Henry Brouncker Lord President Munster [aged 57] died. He was buried in St Mary's Church Cork.
On 22nd March 1615 Katherine Boyle Viscountess Ranelagh was born to Richard Boyle 1st Earl Cork [aged 48] and Catherine Fenton Countess Cork [aged 30] in Youghal. She married 1630 Arthur Jones 2nd Viscount Ranelagh and had issue.
On 8th November 1625 Mary Boyle Countess Warwick was born to Richard Boyle 1st Earl Cork [aged 59] and Catherine Fenton Countess Cork [aged 40] at Youghal. She married 21st July 1641 Charles Rich 4th Earl Warwick, son of Robert Rich 2nd Earl Warwick and Frances Hatton Countess Warwick.
