On 24th February 1743 Joseph Banks 1st Baronet was born to William Banks aka Hodgkinson [aged 23].
In September 1761 [his father] William Banks aka Hodgkinson [aged 42] died.
On 12th July 1771 Joseph Banks 1st Baronet [aged 28] arrived back in England.

On 30th November 1778 Joseph Banks 1st Baronet [aged 35] was elected President of the Royal Society which position he held for forty-one years.
In March 1779 Joseph Banks 1st Baronet [aged 36] and Dorothea Hugessen were married. The lived at 32 Soho Square for the remainder of his life.
In 1781 Joseph Banks 1st Baronet [aged 37] was created 1st Baronet Banks of Revesby Abbey.

On 19th June 1820 Joseph Banks 1st Baronet [aged 77] died at Spring Grove House. Baronet Banks of Revesby Abbey extinct.
