To Ralph, Earl of Stafford [aged 51], by a tally raised this day from the fifteenths granted to the clergy in the twenty-fifth year, containing £1000, granted to the said Earl of the King's gift for lately capturing Burseald [aged 43], a French knight, in the war in Gascony. By writ of privy seal amongst the mandates of this term, £1000.
