Around 1158 [her father] William of Blois 1st Earl Albemarle 1st Earl York [aged 57] and [her mother] Cecily Skipton Countess Aumale and York [aged 20] were married. She by marriage Countess Albemarle, Countess York. The difference in their ages was 37 years. In 1195 [her husband] William Forz 2nd Earl Albemarle died.

[her daughter] Alice Béthune Countess Pembroke was born to Baldwin Béthune Count Aumale and Hawise Blois 2nd Countess Albemarle and Essex. She married September 1214 William "The Younger" Marshal 2nd Earl Pembroke, son of William Marshal 1st Earl Pembroke and Isabel Clare Countess Pembroke.

[her son] William Forz 3rd Earl Albemarle was born to William Forz 2nd Earl Albemarle and Hawise Blois 2nd Countess Albemarle and Essex. He married before 26th March 1242 Aveline Montfichet and had issue.
