In 1484 [his father] Jean III King Navarre [aged 15] and [his mother] Catherine Grailly I Queen Navarre [aged 16] were married. He by marriage King Navarre. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Gaston V Count Foix and [his grandmother] Magdalena Valois Countess Foix [aged 40]. They were third cousins.

On 18th April 1503 King Henry II of Navarre was born to [his father] Jean III King Navarre [aged 34] and [his mother] Catherine Grailly I Queen Navarre [aged 35].

On 14th June 1516 [his father] Jean III King Navarre [aged 47] died. His wife [his mother] Catherine Grailly I Queen Navarre [aged 48] continued to reign.

On 12th February 1517 [his mother] Catherine Grailly I Queen Navarre [aged 49] died. Her son Henry [aged 13] succeeded II King Navarre.

On 8th September 1524 Charlotte Valois [aged 7] died of measles. She had been in the care of her aunt [his future wife] Marguerite Valois Orléans Queen Consort Navarre [aged 32] who was with her when she died.

In 1526 King Henry II of Navarre [aged 22] and Marguerite Valois Orléans Queen Consort Navarre [aged 33] were married. She by marriage Queen Consort Navarre. She the daughter of Charles Valois Orléans Count Angoulême and Louise of Savoy Countess Angoulême [aged 49]. He the son of Jean III King Navarre and Catherine Grailly I Queen Navarre. They were third cousin once removed.

On 16th November 1528 [his daughter] Jeanne Albret III Queen Navarre was born to King Henry II of Navarre [aged 25] and [his wife] Marguerite Valois Orléans Queen Consort Navarre [aged 36]. She married 20th October 1548 her third cousin Antoine King Navarre, son of Charles Bourbon Duke Vendôme and Françoise Valois Countess Vendôme, and had issue.

On 4th July 1530 [his brother-in-law] King Francis I of France [aged 35] and Eleanor of Austria Queen Consort France Queen Consort Portugal [aged 31] were married. She by marriage Queen Consort of France. She the daughter of Philip "Handsome Fair" King Castile and Joanna "The Mad" Trastámara Queen Castile [aged 51]. He the son of Charles Valois Orléans Count Angoulême and [his mother-in-law] Louise of Savoy Countess Angoulême [aged 53]. They were second cousin once removed. She a great x 4 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.

On 7th July 1530 [his son] John Albret was born to King Henry II of Navarre [aged 27] and [his wife] Marguerite Valois Orléans Queen Consort Navarre [aged 38]. He died aged less than one years old.

On 25th December 1530 [his son] John Albret died.

Henry VIII and Francis I meet at Calais

The Maner of the Triumphe at Caleys and Bulleyn. 11th October 1532. I1 will certyfye you of our newes in the partyes of Calais. Fyrst the xj. day of October whiche was Fryday in the mornyng at. v. of the clocke the kynges grace toke his Shyppe called the Swallowe and so came to Caleys by. x. of the clocke. And there he was receyved with processyon and with the mayre and the lorde delite and all the speres [knights] and the sowdyours in araye with a greate peale of gonnes and laye in Caleys tyll the Sondaye seuenyght after. And on the. xvj. day of October my lorde of Norffolke [aged 59] accompanyed with my lord of Darby [aged 23] and a great nombre of gentilmen besydes mette with the great mayster of Fraunce vj. myles fro Calays at the englysshe pale the sayd great mayster hauynge two greate lordes in his company of theyr ordre and a hondred gentylmen attendynge vpon them. And there my lorde of Norffolke and the greate mayster deuysed the place where the two kynges sholde mete whiche was at Sandyngfelde. And that done they wente bothe to Caleys with theyr companyes. And the sayd greate mayster with dyuerse other straungers dyned that daye with ye Kynge. And after dyner my lorde of Norffolke brought them forth on theyr way a myle or two and so departed for that tyme.

On 31st March 1547 [his brother-in-law] King Francis I of France [aged 52] died. His son Henry [aged 28] succeeded II King France: Capet Valois Angoulême.

On 20th October 1548 [his son-in-law] Antoine King Navarre [aged 30] and Jeanne Albret III Queen Navarre [aged 19] were married. She by marriage Duchess Vendôme. She the daughter of King Henry II of Navarre [aged 45] and Marguerite Valois Orléans Queen Consort Navarre [aged 56]. He the son of Charles Bourbon Duke Vendôme and Françoise Valois Countess Vendôme [aged 58]. They were third cousins.

On 12th December 1549 [his wife] Marguerite Valois Orléans Queen Consort Navarre [aged 57] died.

On 25th May 1555 King Henry II of Navarre [aged 52] died. His daughter Jeanne [aged 26] succeeded III Queen Navarre.
