On 5th March 1574 [his son] Frederick IV Elector Palatine was born to Louis VI Elector Palatine [aged 34]. He married before 16th July 1594 Electress Louise Juliana of the Palatine Rhine and had issue.
On 26th October 1576 [his father] Frederick III Elector Palatine [aged 61] died. His son Louis [aged 37] succeeded Count Palatine Simmern.
On 14th March 1582 [his wife] Elizabeth Hesse Electress Palatine [aged 43] died.
On 22nd October 1583 Louis VI Elector Palatine [aged 44] died. His son Frederick [aged 9] succeeded IV Elector Palatine Rhine.
