On 11th June 1916 Rifleman Thomas Redfern was killed in action whilst serving with the 18th Battalion Kings Royal Rifle Corps; Service Number C/6583. He is buried at Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension Plot 2 B 172 Stone number 1478.
