Deeds of King Henry V

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 25th September 1087 Simon Montfort [aged 62] died at Épernon. His son Amaury [aged 31] succeeded 2nd Seigneur Montfort.

In 1089 Amaury Montfort [aged 33] was killed. His brother Amaury [aged 18] succeeded 3rd Seigneur Montfort.

On 13th March 1181 Simon "Chauve" Montfort 4th Count Évreux [aged 53] died at Évreux, Haute Normandie. His son Amaury succeeded 5th Count Évreux, 5th Seigneur Montfort.

On 25th June 1218 Simon "Elder" Montfort 5th Earl of Leicester [aged 43] was killed at the Siege of Toulouse 1218. His son Amaury [aged 23] succeeded 6th Seigneur Montfort. His son Simon [aged 10] succeeded 6th Earl of Leicester.

Raoul Gael succeeded Seigneur Gaël, Seigneur Montfort.

Amaury Montfort and Beatrix Viennois were married. She by marriage Seigneur Montfort. He the son of Simon "Elder" Montfort 5th Earl of Leicester and Alix Montmorency.

Simon Montfort and Isabel Bardoul were married. She by marriage Seigneur Montfort.
