On 10th April 1778 [his son] Thomas Grey 4th Baron Walsingham was born to Thomas Grey 2nd Baron Walsingham and [his wife] Augusta Georgina Irby Baroness Walsingham [aged 30] at Chelsea. He married 12th August 1802 Elizabeth North Baroness Walsingham, daughter of Bishop Brownlow North and Henrietta Maria Bannister, and had issue.
In 1780 [his father] William Grey 1st Baron Walsingham [aged 60] was created 1st Baron Walsingham of Walsingham in Norfolk.
In 1780 Thomas Grey 2nd Baron Walsingham was elected MP Lostwithiel which seat he held until 1781 when he succeeded his father as Baron Walsingham of Walsingham in Norfolk.
On 9th May 1781 [his father] William Grey 1st Baron Walsingham [aged 61] died. His son Thomas succeeded 2nd Baron Walsingham of Walsingham in Norfolk. [his wife] Augusta Georgina Irby Baroness Walsingham [aged 34] by marriage Baroness Walsingham of Walsingham in Norfolk.
On 23rd June 1781 [his uncle] Thomas de Grey [aged 64] died. His nephew Thomas Grey 2nd Baron Walsingham inherited Merton Hall, Norfolk.
Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 16th January 1818 Thomas Grey 2nd Baron Walsingham died. His son George [aged 41] succeeded 3rd Baron Walsingham of Walsingham in Norfolk. Matilda Methuen Baroness Walsingham by marriage Baroness Walsingham of Walsingham in Norfolk.
On 28th May 1818 [his former wife] Augusta Georgina Irby Baroness Walsingham [aged 71] died.
