Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes

Récits d’un bourgeois de Valenciennes aka The Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes is a vivid 14th-century vernacular chronicle written by an anonymous urban chronicler from Valenciennes in the County of Hainaut. In 1774 Bishop Brownlow North [aged 32] was appointed Bishop of Worcester.

On 26th October 1776 [his daughter] Elizabeth North Baroness Walsingham was born to Bishop Brownlow North [aged 35] and [his wife] Henrietta Maria Bannister [aged 26]. She married 12th August 1802 Thomas Grey 4th Baron Walsingham, son of Thomas Grey 2nd Baron Walsingham and Augusta Georgina Irby Baroness Walsingham, and had issue.

In 1778 [his son] Brownlow North was born to Bishop Brownlow North [aged 36] and [his wife] Henrietta Maria Bannister [aged 28].

In 1780 [his brother-in-law] James Brudenell 5th Earl Cardigan [aged 54] was created 1st Baron Brudenell Deene in Northamptonshire. [his half-sister] Anne Legge Baroness Brudenell Deene by marriage Baroness Brudenell Deene in Northamptonshire.

Deeds of King Henry V

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 17th November 1796 [his wife] Henrietta Maria Bannister [aged 46] died.

On 2nd April 1798 [his sister] Louisa North Baroness Latimer Baroness Willoughby of Broke [aged 61] died.

On 15th July 1801 [his half-brother] William Legge 2nd Earl Dartmouth [aged 70] died. His son [his nephew] George [aged 45] succeeded 3rd Earl Dartmouth. Frances Finch Countess Dartmouth [aged 40] by marriage Countess Dartmouth. He took his seat in the Lords on 29th October 1801.

On 12th August 1802 [his son-in-law] Thomas Grey 4th Baron Walsingham [aged 24] and Elizabeth North Baroness Walsingham [aged 25] were married. She the daughter of Bishop Brownlow North [aged 61] and Henrietta Maria Bannister.

On 12th July 1820 Bishop Brownlow North [aged 78] died.

Anne Boleyn. Her Life as told by Lancelot de Carle's 1536 Letter.

In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness.
