On 18th December 1676 Bennet Hoskyns 1st Baronet [aged 67] was created 1st Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

In 1680 Bennet Hoskyns 1st Baronet [aged 71] died. His son John [aged 45] succeeded 2nd Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire. Jane Lowe Lady Hoskyns by marriage Lady Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

On 12th September 1705 John Hoskyns 2nd Baronet [aged 71] died. He was buried in St Denis' Church, Harewood. His son Bennet [aged 30] succeeded 3rd Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire

In 1711 Bennet Hoskyns 3rd Baronet [aged 36] died. His brother Hungerford [aged 34] succeeded 4th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire at which time he resigned from the army. Mary Leigh Lady Hoskyns [aged 11] by marriage Lady Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

On 21st December 1767 Hungerford Hoskyns 4th Baronet [aged 90] died. His son Chandos [aged 47] succeeded 5th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire. Rebecca May Lady Hoskyns by marriage Lady Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

On 29th May 1773 Chandos Hoskyns 5th Baronet [aged 53] died. His son Hungerford succeeded 6th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

On 14th December 1774 Hungerford Hoskyns 6th Baronet and Catherine Stanhope Lady Hoskyns were married. She by marriage Lady Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire. They were third cousins.

On 10th July 1802 Hungerford Hoskyns 6th Baronet died. His son Hungerford [aged 26] succeeded 7th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

Abbot John Whethamstede’s Chronicle of the Abbey of St Albans

Abbot John Whethamstede's Register aka Chronicle of his second term at the Abbey of St Albans, 1451-1461, is a remarkable text that describes his first-hand experience of the beginning of the Wars of the Roses including the First and Second Battles of St Albans, 1455 and 1461, respectively, their cause, and their consequences, not least on the Abbey itself. His text also includes Loveday, Blore Heath, Northampton, the Act of Accord, Wakefield, and Towton, and ends with the Coronation of King Edward IV. In addition to the events of the Wars of the Roses, Abbot John, or his scribes who wrote the Chronicle, include details in the life of the Abbey such as charters, letters, land exchanges, visits by legates, and disputes, which provide a rich insight into the day-to-day life of the Abbey, and the challenges faced by its Abbot.

On 1st November 1877 Hungerford Hoskyns 8th Baronet [aged 73] died unmarried. His brother John [aged 60] succeeded 9th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

In 1911 John Leigh Hoskyns 9th Baronet [aged 93] died. His son Chandos [aged 62] succeeded 10th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

On 22nd July 1914 Chandos Hoskyns 10th Baronet [aged 66] died. His brother Leigh [aged 64] succeeded 11th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

On 12th September 1923 Leigh Hoskyns 11th Baronet [aged 73] died. His brother Edwyn [aged 72] succeeded 12th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

On 2nd December 1925 Edwyn Hoskyns 12th Baronet [aged 74] died. His son Edwyn [aged 41] succeeded 13th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

On 28th June 1937 Edwyn Clement Hoskyns 13th Baronet [aged 52] died. His son Chandos [aged 13] succeeded 14th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

On 3rd April 1945 Chandos Wren Hoskyns 14th Baronet [aged 21] was killed in action during air operations over Norway. His brother John [aged 18] succeeded 15th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

On 12th April 1956 John Chevallier Hoskyns 15th Baronet [aged 29] died unmarried. His brother Benedict [aged 27] succeeded 16th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.

In 2010 Benedict Leigh Hoskyns 16th Baronet [aged 81] died. His son Edwyn [aged 53] succeeded 17th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.
