On 17th January 1659 John Knatchbull 2nd Baronet [aged 23] and Jane Monins Lady Knatchbull were married.
In 1660 John Knatchbull 2nd Baronet [aged 24] was elected MP New Romney.
In 1685 John Knatchbull 2nd Baronet [aged 49] was elected MP Kent which seat he held until 1695.
On 5th February 1685 [his father] Norton Knatchbull 1st Baronet died. His son John [aged 49] succeeded 2nd Baronet Knatchbull of Mersham Hatch in Kent. [his wife] Jane Monins Lady Knatchbull by marriage Lady Knatchbull of Mersham Hatch in Kent.
On 15th December 1696 John Knatchbull 2nd Baronet [aged 60] died. His brother Thomas [aged 56] succeeded 3rd Baronet Knatchbull of Mersham Hatch in Kent.
On 7th June 1699 [his former wife] Jane Monins Lady Knatchbull died.
