On 21st September 1538 Lewis Mordaunt 3rd Baron Mordaunt was born to John Mordaunt 2nd Baron Mordaunt [aged 30] and Ellen Fitzlewis [aged 16].
After 1543 [his father] John Mordaunt 2nd Baron Mordaunt [aged 35] and [his step-mother] Joan Fermor [aged 27] were married.
On 18th August 1562 [his grandfather] John Mordaunt 1st Baron Mordaunt [aged 82] died at Bedford, Bedfordshire [Map]. His son [his father] John [aged 54] succeeded 2nd Baron Mordaunt.
In 1563 Lewis Mordaunt 3rd Baron Mordaunt [aged 24] was elected MP Bedfordshire.
In 1567 [his son] Henry Mordaunt 4th Baron Mordaunt was born to Lewis Mordaunt 3rd Baron Mordaunt [aged 28]. He married before 1608 Margaret Compton Baroness Mordaunt, daughter of Henry Compton 1st Baron Compton and Anne Spencer Countess Dorset, and had issue.
In 1570 Lewis Mordaunt 3rd Baron Mordaunt [aged 31] was appointed High Sheriff of Bedfordshire and High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire.
In 1571 [his father] John Mordaunt 2nd Baron Mordaunt [aged 63] died. He was buried at All Saints Church, Turvey [Map]. His son Lewis [aged 32] succeeded 3rd Baron Mordaunt.
On 2nd June 1543 [his mother] Ellen Fitzlewis [aged 21] died. In April 1592 [his step-mother] Joan Fermor [aged 27] died.

Joan Fermor: Around 1516 she was born to Richard Fermor and Anne Browne. After 1543 John Mordaunt 2nd Baron Mordaunt and she were married.

On 16th June 1601 Lewis Mordaunt 3rd Baron Mordaunt [aged 62] died at Drayton, Northamptonshire [Map]. His son Henry [aged 34] succeeded 4th Baron Mordaunt.
He was buried at All Saints Church, Turvey [Map] where he has a black-painted alabaster pall and black marble slab. The Mordaunt crest appears to have changed to an African woman.
Henry Mordaunt 4th Baron Mordaunt: In 1567 he was born to Lewis Mordaunt 3rd Baron Mordaunt. Before 1608 Henry Mordaunt 4th Baron Mordaunt and Margaret Compton Baroness Mordaunt were married. She by marriage Baroness Mordaunt. She the daughter of Henry Compton 1st Baron Compton and Anne Spencer Countess Dorset. In 1608 Henry Mordaunt 4th Baron Mordaunt died. His son John succeeded 5th Baron Mordaunt.
