Before 27th March 1602 [his father] Henry Yelverton [aged 35] and [his mother] Mary Beale [aged 20] were married. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Robert Beale.
On 27th March 1602 Christopher Yelverton 1st Baronet was born to Henry Yelverton [aged 35] and Mary Beale [aged 20].
On 24th January 1630 [his father] Henry Yelverton [aged 63] died. He was buried at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Easton Maudit [Map].
On 29th April 1625 [his mother] Mary Beale [aged 43] died. She was buried at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Easton Maudit [Map].
Elaborate canopied Stuart Hooded Monument of alabaster, the effigies one above the other, with the figures of four sons and five daughters below. The canopy is supported by bedesmen in black gowns, and is surmounted by figures of Faith, Hope, and Charity. Above is an inscribed panel surrounded by books on end and various linked symbols with winged cherubs above. Large caryatids representing hooded bedesmen to left and right. Arch above with 3 standing figures and 2 hour-glasses on sculls.
Mary Beale: Around 1582 she was born to Robert Beale. Before 27th March 1602 Henry Yelverton and she were married. She the daughter of Robert Beale.









On 20th April 1630 Christopher Yelverton 1st Baronet [aged 28] and Anne Twysden were married.
After 20th April 1630 [his daughter] Anne Yelverton Countess Manchester was born to Christopher Yelverton 1st Baronet [aged 28] and [his wife] Anne Twysden. She married 1. 27th June 1655 Robert Montagu 3rd Earl Manchester, son of Edward Montagu 2nd Earl Manchester and Anne Rich Viscountess Mandeville, and had issue 2. after 14th March 1683 Charles Montagu 1st Earl Halifax.
On 6th July 1633 [his son] Henry Yelverton Baron Grey of Ruthyn was born to Christopher Yelverton 1st Baronet [aged 31] and [his wife] Anne Twysden. He married before 21st August 1657 his fifth cousin once removed Susan Longueville 13th Baroness Grey of Ruthyn, daughter of Charles Longueville 12th Baron Grey of Ruthyn and Frances Neville, and had issue.
In 1641 Christopher Yelverton 1st Baronet [aged 38] was created 1st Baronet Yelverton of Easton Maudit in Northamptonshire.

William of Worcester's Chronicle of England
William of Worcester, born around 1415, and died around 1482 was secretary to John Fastolf, the renowned soldier of the Hundred Years War, during which time he collected documents, letters, and wrote a record of events. Following their return to England in 1440 William was witness to major events. Twice in his chronicle he uses the first person: 1. when writing about the murder of Thomas, 7th Baron Scales, in 1460, he writes '… and I saw him lying naked in the cemetery near the porch of the church of St. Mary Overie in Southwark …' and 2. describing King Edward IV's entry into London in 1461 he writes '… proclaimed that all the people themselves were to recognize and acknowledge Edward as king. I was present and heard this, and immediately went down with them into the city'. William’s Chronicle is rich in detail. It is the source of much information about the Wars of the Roses, including the term 'Diabolical Marriage' to describe the marriage of Queen Elizabeth Woodville’s brother John’s marriage to Katherine, Dowager Duchess of Norfolk, he aged twenty, she sixty-five or more, and the story about a paper crown being placed in mockery on the severed head of Richard, 3rd Duke of York.

After 1647 Bishop Thomas Morton [aged 82] became tutor to Henry Yelverton Baron Grey of Ruthyn [aged 13] the son of Christopher Yelverton 1st Baronet [aged 44] at Easton Maudit.
On 4th December 1654 Christopher Yelverton 1st Baronet [aged 52] died. He was buried at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Easton Maudit [Map]. His son Henry [aged 21] succeeded 2nd Baronet Yelverton of Easton Maudit in Northamptonshire.

On 20th September 1659 Bishop Thomas Morton [aged 95] died at Easton Maudit at the home of Christopher Yelverton 1st Baronet whose tutor he once had been. Grave slab for Bishop Thomas Morton at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Easton Maudit [Map]. Note his grave slab states his name as Thomas Dunelm. Dunelm is the surname traditionally taken by Bishops of Durham. Main armorial the arms of the Bishop of Durham impaled with unknown arms.
Bishop Thomas Morton: On 20th March 1564 he was born at York [Map]. In 1618 he was appointed Bishop of Norwich. In June 1632 he was appointed Bishop of Durham. Parliament deprived him of the see in 1647. After 1647 Bishop Thomas Morton became tutor to Henry Yelverton Baron Grey of Ruthyn the son of Christopher Yelverton 1st Baronet at Easton Maudit.

On 3rd December 1670 [his former wife] Anne Twysden died.
