Charles Shelley 2nd Baronet -1681

Charles Shelley 2nd Baronet was born to John Shelley of Mitchelgrove 1st Baronet and Jane Reresby.

Before 1644 [his father] John Shelley of Mitchelgrove 1st Baronet and [his mother] Jane Reresby [aged 53] were married.

In 1644 [his mother] Jane Reresby [aged 54] died.

On 14th November 1644 [his father] John Shelley of Mitchelgrove 1st Baronet died. His succeeded son Charles succeeded 2nd Baronet Shelley of Mitchelgrove in Sussex.

Before 1662 Charles Shelley 2nd Baronet and Elizabeth Weston were married. She the daughter of Benjamin Weston and Elizabeth Sheldon Countess Anglesey [aged 53].

Around 1662 [his son] John Shelley 3rd Baronet was born to Charles Shelley 2nd Baronet and [his wife] Elizabeth Weston. He married (1) before 15th June 1685 Winifred Neville Lady Shelley and had issue (2) 24th May 1687 Mary Gage Lady Shelley, daughter of John Gage 4th Baronet and Mary Middlemore, and had issue.

Around 1665 [his sister-in-law] Anne Villiers Countess Sussex died.

Before 21st April 1665 George Neville [aged 50] and [his future wife] Mary Gifford [aged 35] were married.

Around 1666 [his wife] Elizabeth Weston died.

After 2nd June 1666 Charles Shelley 2nd Baronet and Mary Gifford [aged 36] were married. His son John Shelley 3rd Baronet [aged 4] subsequently married her daughter Winifred Neville Lady Shelley.

In 1681 Charles Shelley 2nd Baronet died. His succeeded son John [aged 19] succeeded 3rd Baronet Shelley of Mitchelgrove in Sussex.

Before 15th June 1685 [his son] John Shelley 3rd Baronet [aged 23] and [his daughter-in-law] Winifred Neville Lady Shelley were married. Winifred Neville Lady Shelley by marriage Lady Shelley of Mitchelgrove in Sussex. His father Charles Shelley 2nd Baronet and her mother [his former wife] Mary Gifford [aged 55] were married meaning her step-father became her father-in-law.

Before 14th November 1699, the date she was buried, [his former wife] Mary Gifford [aged 69] died.
