Westminster Chronicle of King Richard II, 1381-1394

The Westminster Chronicle is one of the most vivid and important narrative sources for the reign of Richard II. Before 17th September 1749 Thomas Brand [aged 32] and [his mother] Caroline Pierrepont [aged 33] were married. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Evelyn Pierrepont 1st Duke Kingston upon Hull and [his grandmother] Isabella Bentinck Duchess Kingston upon Hull.

On 17th September 1749 Thomas Brand Baron Dacre was born to Thomas Brand [aged 32] and Caroline Pierrepont [aged 33]. He was educated at Westminster School [Map].

In 1753 [his mother] Caroline Pierrepont [aged 37] died.

On 19th January 1765 Thomas Brand Baron Dacre [aged 15] was admitted to Trinity College, Cambridge University [Map].

In August 1770 Thomas Brand [aged 53] died.

On 20th April 1771 Thomas Brand Baron Dacre [aged 21] and Gertrude Trevor Roper 19th Baroness Dacre of Gilsland [aged 20] were married. They were fourth cousin once removed. She a great x 2 granddaughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.

In 1774 Thomas Brand Baron Dacre [aged 24] was elected MP Arundel unopposed.

On 25th March 1774 [his son] Thomas Brand 20th Baron Dacre 19th Baron Multon was born to Thomas Brand Baron Dacre [aged 24] and [his wife] Gertrude Trevor Roper 19th Baroness Dacre of Gilsland [aged 23]. He a great x 3 grandson of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.

On 27th July 1777 [his son] General Henry Otway Trevor 21st Baron Dacre 20th Baron Multon was born to Thomas Brand Baron Dacre [aged 27] and [his wife] Gertrude Trevor Roper 19th Baroness Dacre of Gilsland [aged 26]. He a great x 3 grandson of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland. He married 24th July 1806 Pyne Crosbie Lady of the Bedchamber and had issue.

On 4th February 1794 [his brother-in-law] Charles Trevor Roper 18th Baron Dacre Gilsland [aged 49] died. His sister Gertrude [aged 43] succeeded 19th Baroness Dacre Gilsland, 18th Baroness Multon of Gilsland. Thomas Brand Baron Dacre [aged 44] by marriage Baron Dacre Gilsland albeit for seventeen days only since he died on 21st February 1794.

On 21st February 1794 Thomas Brand Baron Dacre [aged 44] died.

On 3rd October 1819 [his former wife] Gertrude Trevor Roper 19th Baroness Dacre of Gilsland [aged 69] died. Her son Thomas [aged 45] succeeded 20th Baron Dacre Gilsland, 19th Baron Multon of Gilsland.
