On 11th March 1800 Philip Sidney 1st Baron De Lisle and Dudley was born to John Shelley-Sidney 1st Baronet [aged 29] and Henrietta Hunloke [aged 16].

On 5th February 1811 [his mother] Henrietta Hunloke [aged 27] died.

On 13th August 1825 Philip Sidney 1st Baron De Lisle and Dudley [aged 25] and Sophia Fitz-Clarence Baroness De Lisle and Dudley [aged 29] were married. She the illegitmate daughter of King William IV of the United Kingdom [aged 59] and Dorothea Bland aka "Mrs Jordan".

On 20th January 1828 [his son] Philip Sidney 2nd Baron De Lisle and Dudley was born to Philip Sidney 1st Baron De Lisle and Dudley [aged 27] and [his wife] Sophia Fitz-Clarence Baroness De Lisle and Dudley [aged 31]. He a grandson of King William IV of the United Kingdom. He married 23rd April 1850 Mary Foulis and had issue.

In 1829 Philip Sidney 1st Baron De Lisle and Dudley [aged 28] was elected MP Eye which seat he held until 1831.

On 13th January 1835 Philip Sidney 1st Baron De Lisle and Dudley [aged 34] was created 1st Baron De Lisle and Dudley. [his wife] Sophia Fitz-Clarence Baroness De Lisle and Dudley [aged 38] by marriage Baroness De Lisle and Dudley.

On 10th April 1837 [his wife] Sophia Fitz-Clarence Baroness De Lisle and Dudley [aged 40] died.

In 1849 [his father] John Shelley-Sidney 1st Baronet [aged 78] died. His son Philip [aged 48] succeeded 2nd Baronet Shelley-Sidney of Penshurst Place in Kent.

Abbot John Whethamstede’s Chronicle of the Abbey of St Albans

Abbot John Whethamstede's Register aka Chronicle of his second term at the Abbey of St Albans, 1451-1461, is a remarkable text that describes his first-hand experience of the beginning of the Wars of the Roses including the First and Second Battles of St Albans, 1455 and 1461, respectively, their cause, and their consequences, not least on the Abbey itself. His text also includes Loveday, Blore Heath, Northampton, the Act of Accord, Wakefield, and Towton, and ends with the Coronation of King Edward IV. In addition to the events of the Wars of the Roses, Abbot John, or his scribes who wrote the Chronicle, include details in the life of the Abbey such as charters, letters, land exchanges, visits by legates, and disputes, which provide a rich insight into the day-to-day life of the Abbey, and the challenges faced by its Abbot.

She a granddaughter of King William IV of the United Kingdom. She married 2nd December 1856 her first cousin Frederick Charles George Fitz-Clarence, son of George Fitz-Clarence 1st Earl Munster and Mary Wyndham Countess Munster.
