She the daughter of [his grandfather] James Waldegrave 2nd Earl Waldegrave and [his grandmother] Maria Walpole Duchess Gloucester and Edinburgh [aged 48]. He the son of Augustus Henry Fitzroy 3rd Duke Grafton [aged 49] and Anne Liddell Duchess Grafton [aged 47]. They were fourth cousin once removed. He a great x 3 grandson of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland. She a great x 2 granddaughter of King James II of England Scotland and Ireland.

On 28th September 1791 Charles Fitzroy was born to George Henry Fitzroy 4th Duke Grafton [aged 31] and Charlotte Maria Waldegrave [aged 29]. He a great x 3 grandson of King James II of England Scotland and Ireland.

On 1st February 1808 [his mother] Charlotte Maria Waldegrave [aged 46] died.

On 14th March 1811 [his grandfather] Augustus Henry Fitzroy 3rd Duke Grafton [aged 75] died. His succeeded son [his father] George [aged 51] succeeded 4th Duke Grafton, 4th Earl Euston, 4th Viscount Ipswich, 4th Baron Sudbury, 5th Earl Arlington, 5th Viscount Thetford, 5th Baron Arlington of Arlington in Middlesex and 5th Baron Arlington of Arlington in Middlesex.

On 20th June 1812 [his brother] Henry Fitzroy 5th Duke Grafton [aged 22] and [his sister-in-law] Mary Caroline Berkeley Duchess Grafton [aged 17] were married at Lisbon [Map]. He the son of [his father] George Henry Fitzroy 4th Duke Grafton [aged 52] and [his mother] Charlotte Maria Waldegrave. They were half fourth cousin once removed. He a great x 3 grandson of King James II of England Scotland and Ireland. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.

On 18th June 1815 Charles Fitzroy [aged 23] fought at Waterloo during the Battle of Waterloo: Great Britain and Prussia.

In 1818 Charles Fitzroy [aged 26] was elected MP Thetford.

On 25th October 1825 Charles Fitzroy [aged 34] and Anne Cavendish [aged 37] were married. She the daughter of George Augustus Henry Cavendish 1st Earl Burlington [aged 71] and Elizabeth Compton Countess Burlington [aged 65]. He the son of George Henry Fitzroy 4th Duke Grafton [aged 65] and Charlotte Maria Waldegrave. They were fourth cousins. He a great x 3 grandson of King James II of England Scotland and Ireland.

In 1831 Charles Fitzroy [aged 39] was elected MP Bury St Edmunds.

In 1835 Charles Fitzroy [aged 43] was appointed Privy Council.

Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke

Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson.

[his sister-in-law] Mary Caroline Berkeley Duchess Grafton [aged 49] by marriage Duchess Grafton.

On 26th March 1863 [his brother] Henry Fitzroy 5th Duke Grafton [aged 73] died at Wakefield Lodge, Pottersbury. His succeeded son [his nephew] William Henry Fitzroy 6th Duke Grafton [aged 43] succeeded 6th Duke Grafton, 6th Earl Euston, 6th Viscount Ipswich, 6th Baron Sudbury, 7th Earl Arlington, 7th Viscount Thetford, 7th Baron Arlington of Arlington in Middlesex and 7th Baron Arlington of Arlington in Middlesex. Marie Anne Louise Baring Duchess Grafton [aged 30] by marriage Duchess Grafton.

On 17th June 1865 Charles Fitzroy [aged 73] died at Hampton Richmond, Surrey.

On 17th May 1871 [his former wife] Anne Cavendish [aged 83] died.
