On 22nd November 1777 [his son] Charles Marsham 2nd Earl Romney was born to Charles Marsham 1st Earl Romney [aged 33] and [his wife] Frances Wyndham [aged 22]. He married 1. 9th September 1806 Sophia Pitt Countess Romney and had issue 2. 8th February 1832 his fifth cousin once removed Mary Elizabeth Townshend Countess Romney, daughter of John Townshend 2nd Viscount Sydney and Caroline Elizabeth Letitia Clements Viscountess Sydney, and had issue.
On 25th October 1778 [his daughter] Frances Marsham was born to Charles Marsham 1st Earl Romney [aged 34] and [his wife] Frances Wyndham [aged 23]. She married 17th August 1805 John Buchanan Riddell.
On 16th November 1793 [his father] Robert Marsham 2nd Baron Romney [aged 81] died. His son Charles [aged 49] succeeded 3rd Baron Romney, 7th Baronet Marsham of Cuckston in Kent. [his wife] Frances Wyndham [aged 38] by marriage Baroness Romney.

The Chronicle of Jean le Bel, Volume 2 continues one of the most important fourteenth-century accounts of the early Hundred Years’ War. Written by the Liège chronicler Jean le Bel, this vivid narrative follows the fortunes of Edward III, Jean II of France, the Black Prince, the great nobles of France and England, and the soldiers, captains and companies who shaped the conflict. On 9th September 1806 Charles Marsham 2nd Earl Romney [aged 28] and Sophia Pitt Countess Romney were married. He the son of Charles Marsham 1st Earl Romney [aged 61] and Frances Wyndham.
On 1st March 1811 Charles Marsham 1st Earl Romney [aged 66] died. His son Charles [aged 33] succeeded 2nd Earl Romney, 2nd Viscount Marsham, 4th Baron Romney, 8th Baronet Marsham of Cuckston in Kent. Sophia Pitt Countess Romney by marriage Countess Romney.
