Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg 1742-1802

On 5th August 1728 [his father] Thomas Belasyse 1st Earl Fauconberg [aged 29] and Catherine Betham Countess Fauconberg were married.

On 13th April 1742 Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg was born to Thomas Belasyse 1st Earl Fauconberg [aged 42].

On 16th June 1756 [his father] Thomas Belasyse 1st Earl Fauconberg [aged 57] was created 1st Earl Fauconberg. Catherine Betham Countess Fauconberg by marriage Countess Fauconberg.

On 29th May 1766 Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg [aged 24] and Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg [aged 23] were married. She by marriage Countess Fauconberg. He the son of Thomas Belasyse 1st Earl Fauconberg [aged 67].

In 1767 [his daughter] Charlotte Belasyse was born to Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg [aged 24] and [his wife] Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg [aged 24].

In 1768 Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg [aged 25] was elected MP Peterborough.

In 1770 [his daughter] Elizabeth Belasyse Duchess Norfolk was born to Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg [aged 27] and [his wife] Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg [aged 27]. She married (1) 23rd April 1789 Bernard Howard 12th Duke of Norfolk and had issue (2) 26th May 1794 Richard Bingham 2nd Earl Lucan, son of Charles Bingham 1st Earl Lucan and Margaret Smith Countess Lucan, and had issue.

Before June 1771 [his son-in-law] George Barnewall [aged 60] and Barbara Belasyse were married. She the daughter of Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg [aged 29] and Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg [aged 28].

In 1773 [his daughter] Harriet Belasyse was born to Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg [aged 30] and [his wife] Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg [aged 30].

On 8th February 1774 [his father] Thomas Belasyse 1st Earl Fauconberg [aged 74] died. His son Henry [aged 31] succeeded 2nd Earl Fauconberg, 5th Viscount Faunconberg, 6th Baronet Belasyse of Newborough.

After 29th May 1776 [his daughter] Anne Belasyse was born to Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg [aged 34] and [his wife] Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg [aged 33]. She married before 13th April 1792 George Wombwell 2nd Baronet, son of George Wombwell 1st Baronet and Susannah Rawlinson, and had issue.

On 23rd April 1789 [his son-in-law] Bernard Howard 12th Duke of Norfolk [aged 23] and Elizabeth Belasyse Duchess Norfolk [aged 19] were married. She the daughter of Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg [aged 47] and Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg [aged 46].

In 1790 [his wife] Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg [aged 47] died.

Before 13th April 1792 [his son-in-law] George Wombwell 2nd Baronet [aged 23] and Anne Belasyse [aged 15] were married. She the daughter of Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg [aged 49] and Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg.

On 26th May 1794 [his son-in-law] Richard Bingham 2nd Earl Lucan [aged 29] and Elizabeth Belasyse Duchess Norfolk [aged 24] were married. She the daughter of Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg [aged 52] and Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg. He the son of Charles Bingham 1st Earl Lucan [aged 58] and Margaret Smith Countess Lucan [aged 54].

In 1802 [his daughter] Harriet Belasyse [aged 29] died.

After 1802. Imitation Gothic chantry-style monument to Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg [aged 59] and his wife Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg on south wall of Chancel at St Michael's Church, Coxwold, North Yorkshire [Map].

Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg: In 1743 she was born to Matthew Lamb 1st Baronet and Charlotte Coke. On 29th May 1766 Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg and she were married. She by marriage Countess Fauconberg. He the son of Thomas Belasyse 1st Earl Fauconberg. In 1790 Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg died.

On 23rd March 1802 Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg [aged 59] died without male issue. Earl Fauconberg extinct. His second cousin Rowland [aged 52] succeeded 6th Viscount Faunconberg, 7th Baronet Belasyse of Newborough.

[his daughter] Barbara Belasyse was born to Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg and Charlotte Lamb Countess Fauconberg. She married before June 1771 George Barnewall, son of Nicholas Barnewall 3rd Viscount Barnewall, and had issue.
