In or before 1581 Thomas Darcy 1st Earl Rivers [aged 15] and Mary Kitson Countess Rivers [aged 13] were married.
In 1581 [her daughter] Elizabeth Darcy 1st Countess Rivers was born to [her husband] Thomas Darcy 1st Earl Rivers [aged 16] and Mary Kitson Countess Rivers [aged 13]. She married 14th May 1602 Thomas Savage 1st Viscount Savage, son of John Savage 1st Baronet, and had issue.
In March 1581 [her father-in-law] John Darcy 2nd Baron Darcy [aged 49] died. He was buried at St Osyth's Priory [Map]. His son [her husband] Thomas [aged 16] succeeded 3rd Baron Darcy of Chiche. Mary Kitson Countess Rivers [aged 13] by marriage Baroness Darcy of Chiche.
In 1586 [her son] Thomas Darcy was born to [her husband] Thomas Darcy 1st Earl Rivers [aged 21] and Mary Kitson Countess Rivers [aged 18] at St Osyth's Priory [Map]. He married 1613 Mary Fitz.
Around 1588 [her daughter] Mary Darcy was born to [her husband] Thomas Darcy 1st Earl Rivers [aged 23] and Mary Kitson Countess Rivers [aged 20].
Around 1590 [her daughter] Susan Darcy was born to [her husband] Thomas Darcy 1st Earl Rivers [aged 25] and Mary Kitson Countess Rivers [aged 22].
In 1593 [her daughter] Penelope Darcy Lady Gage was born to [her husband] Thomas Darcy 1st Earl Rivers [aged 28] and Mary Kitson Countess Rivers [aged 25] at St Osyth's, Essex. She married 1. George Trenchard 2. 28th June 1611 John Gage 1st Baronet and had issue 3. 1642 William Hervey.
Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke
Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson.

In 1613 Thomas Savage 1st Viscount Savage [aged 27] was created 1st Baron Darcy of Chiche. He the son-in-law of the last Baron of the 1513 creation Thomas Darcy 1st Earl Rivers [aged 48].
Around 1613 Thomas Darcy [aged 27] and Mary Fitz [aged 16] were married. He the son of Thomas Darcy 1st Earl Rivers [aged 48] and Mary Kitson Countess Rivers [aged 45].
Around 1613 [her son] Thomas Darcy [aged 27] died.
On 5th July 1621 [her husband] Thomas Darcy 1st Earl Rivers [aged 56] was created 1st Viscount Colchester with a special remainder to his grandson John Savage 2nd Earl Rivers [aged 18]. Mary Kitson Countess Rivers [aged 54] by marriage Viscountess Colchester
On 4th November 1626 [her husband] Thomas Darcy 1st Earl Rivers [aged 61] was created 1st Earl Rivers with a special remainder to his grandson John Savage 2nd Earl Rivers [aged 23]. Mary Kitson Countess Rivers [aged 59] by marriage Countess Rivers.
In 1627 [her daughter] Mary Darcy [aged 39] died.
Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.
