She by marriage Countess Cholmondeley in Cheshire. She the daughter of Peregrine Bertie 3rd Duke Ancaster and Kesteven and Mary Panton Duchess Ancaster and Kesteven.

On 8th May 1870 George Cholmondeley 2nd Marquess Cholmondeley [aged 78] died. He was buried at St Oswald's Church, Malpas [Map].
