In 1799 Frederick Richard West was born to Frederick West [aged 32] at Hanover Square.
On 14th November 1820 Frederick Richard West [aged 21] and Georgiana Stanhope were married. She the daughter of Philip Stanhope 5th Earl Chesterfield and Henrietta Thynne.
On 14th August 1824 [his wife] Georgiana Stanhope died.
In 1826 Frederick Richard West [aged 27] was elected MP Denbigh Boroughs.
On 11th September 1827 Frederick Richard West [aged 28] and Theresa Whitby [aged 21] were married.
In 1830 Frederick Richard West [aged 31] was elected MP East Grinstead.
On 20th March 1835 [his son] William Cornwallis-West was born to Frederick Richard West [aged 36] and [his wife] Theresa Whitby [aged 29]. He married 1872 Mary "Patsy" Fitzpatrick and had issue.
In 1847 Frederick Richard West [aged 48] was elected MP Denbigh Boroughs.
Before 1852 [his father] Frederick West [aged 84] and [his step-mother] Maria Myddelton were married. He the son of [his grandfather] John West 2nd Earl De La Warr.
Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke
Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson.
