On 28th July 1747 Ralph Milbanke aka Noel 6th Baronet was born to Ralph Milbanke 5th Baronet [aged 22].
On 9th May 1748 [his grandfather] Ralph Milbanke 4th Baronet [aged 60] died. His son [his father] Ralph [aged 23] succeeded 5th Baronet Milbanke of Halnaby in Yorkshire.
On 13th April 1769 [his brother-in-law] Penistone Lamb 1st Viscount Melbourne [aged 24] and [his sister] Elizabeth Milbanke Viscountess Melbourne [aged 17] were married.
On 9th January 1777 Ralph Milbanke aka Noel 6th Baronet [aged 29] and Judith Noel [aged 26] were married.
In 1790 Ralph Milbanke aka Noel 6th Baronet [aged 42] was elected MP County Durham.
On 17th May 1792 [his daughter] Anne Isabella Noel Baroness Byron 11th Baroness Wentworth was born to Ralph Milbanke aka Noel 6th Baronet [aged 44] and [his wife] Judith Noel [aged 41] at Elemore Hall, County Durham. She married 2nd January 1815 George "Lord Byron" 6th Baron Byron and had issue.
On 8th January 1798 [his father] Ralph Milbanke 5th Baronet [aged 73] died. His son Ralph [aged 50] succeeded 6th Baronet Milbanke of Halnaby in Yorkshire.
On 2nd January 1815 [his son-in-law] George "Lord Byron" 6th Baron Byron [aged 26] and [his daughter] Anne Isabella Noel Baroness Byron 11th Baroness Wentworth [aged 22] were married at Seaham Hall, County Durham. The officiating clergyman was her cousin, the Reverend Thomas Noel [aged 41] of Kirkby Mallory, Leicestershire, illegitimate son of her uncle, [his brother-in-law] Viscount Wentworth [aged 69]. She by marriage Baroness Byron of Rochdale in Lancashire.
On 17th April 1815 [his brother-in-law] Thomas Noel 2nd Viscount Wentworth [aged 69] died without legitmate issue. Viscount Wentworth, Baronet Noel extinct. Baron Wentworth, Baron Despencer abeyant. His sister [his wife] Judith Noel [aged 64] inherited his estates at which time her husband Ralph Milbanke aka Noel 6th Baronet [aged 67] changed his name from Milbanke to Noel by Royal Licence.
Before 29th May 1815 Ralph Milbanke aka Noel 6th Baronet [aged 67] and [his wife] Judith Noel [aged 64] inherited the estates of her brother [his brother-in-law] Thomas Noel 2nd Viscount Wentworth [deceased]. On 29th May 1815 he, Ralph, changed his surname from Milbanke to Noel.
The History of William Marshal was commissioned by his son shortly after William’s death in 1219 to celebrate the Marshal’s remarkable life; it is an authentic, contemporary voice. The manuscript was discovered in 1861 by French historian Paul Meyer. Meyer published the manuscript in its original Anglo-French in 1891 in two books. This book is a line by line translation of the first of Meyer’s books; lines 1-10152. Book 1 of the History begins in 1139 and ends in 1194. It describes the events of the Anarchy, the role of William’s father John, John’s marriages, William’s childhood, his role as a hostage at the siege of Newbury, his injury and imprisonment in Poitou where he met Eleanor of Aquitaine and his life as a knight errant. It continues with the accusation against him of an improper relationship with Margaret, wife of Henry the Young King, his exile, and return, the death of Henry the Young King, the rebellion of Richard, the future King Richard I, war with France, the death of King Henry II, and the capture of King Richard, and the rebellion of John, the future King John. It ends with the release of King Richard and the death of John Marshal.

On 22nd January 1822 [his wife] Judith Noel [aged 71] died.
On 19th May 1825 Ralph Milbanke aka Noel 6th Baronet [aged 77] died. His nephew John [aged 49] succeeded 7th Baronet Milbanke of Halnaby in Yorkshire.
