On 30th May 1764 [his son] Field Marshall Thomas Erle Drax Grosvenor was born to Thomas Grosvenor [aged 30] and [his wife] Deborah Skynner. He married 6th April 1797 Elizabeth Heathcote, daughter of Gilbert Heathcote 3rd Baronet and Elizabeth Hudson Lady Heathcote.
On 19th July 1764 [his brother] Richard Grosvenor 1st Earl Grosvenor [aged 33] and [his sister-in-law] Henrietta Vernon Countess Grosvenor [aged 28] were married.
