On 27th February 1871 [his daughter] Maud Wentworth-FitzWilliam was born to George Wentworth-Fitzwilliam [aged 53] and [his wife] Alice Louisa Anson. She married 18th July 1892 her second cousin Cospatrick Thomas Dundas and had issue.

On 10th November 1873 Robert Smith aka Vernon 1st Baron Lyveden [aged 73] died. He was buried in Brigstock, Boughton. His succeeded son [his brother-in-law] Fitzpatrick Vernon 2nd Baron Lyveden [aged 49] succeeded 2nd Baron Lyveden. [his sister] Albreda Elizabeth Wentworth-Fitzwilliam Baroness Lyveden [aged 44] by marriage Baroness Lyveden.

On 4th March 1874 George Wentworth-Fitzwilliam [aged 56] died.

On 14th January 1879 [his former wife] Alice Louisa Anson died.
