On 28th April 1836 Charles Mordaunt 10th Baronet was born to John Mordaunt 9th Baronet [aged 27].
On 27th September 1845 [his father] John Mordaunt 9th Baronet [aged 37] died. His succeeded son Charles [aged 9] succeeded 10th Baronet Mordaunt of Massingham Parva.
In 1859 Charles Mordaunt 10th Baronet [aged 22] was elected MP South Warwickshire.
On 6th December 1866 Charles Mordaunt 10th Baronet [aged 30] and Harriet Moncreiffe Lady Mordaunt [aged 18] were married. She by marriage Lady Mordaunt of Massingham Parva.
On 28th February 1869 [his illegitimate step-daughter] Violet Caroline Mordaunt Marchioness Bath was born illegitimately to Lowry Cole 4th Earl Enniskillen [aged 23] and [his wife] Harriet Moncreiffe Lady Mordaunt [aged 21]. Her paternity is speculative since she, Harriet, was married to Charles Mordaunt 10th Baronet [aged 32] at the time of the birth. At the time of conception he had been away on an extended trip to Norway. The following year he sued for divorce threatening to bring the Prince of Wales [aged 27] as a co-respondent being, allegedly, one of her many lovers. The divorce was denied as Lady Mordaunt was judged to be insane, but was finally granted in 1875 when Cole did not contest the claim that he was the father.
On 11th March 1875 Charles Mordaunt 10th Baronet [aged 38] and Harriet Moncreiffe Lady Mordaunt [aged 27] were divorced.
On 24th April 1878 Charles Mordaunt 10th Baronet [aged 41] and Mary Louisa Cholmondeley Lady Massingham Parva [aged 26] were married. Mary Louisa Cholmondeley Lady Massingham Parva by marriage Lady Mordaunt of Massingham Parva.
In 1879 Charles Mordaunt 10th Baronet [aged 42] was appointed High Sheriff of Warwickshire.
On 27th December 1880 [his daughter] Irene Mordaunt was born to Charles Mordaunt 10th Baronet [aged 44] and [his wife] Mary Louisa Cholmondeley Lady Massingham Parva [aged 29].
Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke
Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson.

On 27th January 1884 [his son] Osbert Mordaunt 11th Baronet was born to Charles Mordaunt 10th Baronet [aged 47] and [his wife] Mary Louisa Cholmondeley Lady Massingham Parva [aged 32].
On 4th June 1889 [his daughter] Cicely Mordaunt was born to Charles Mordaunt 10th Baronet [aged 53] and [his wife] Mary Louisa Cholmondeley Lady Massingham Parva [aged 37].
On 19th April 1890 Thomas Henry Thynne 5th Marquess of Bath [aged 27] and [his illegitimate step-daughter] Violet Caroline Mordaunt Marchioness Bath [aged 21] were married. She the illegitmate daughter of Lowry Cole 4th Earl Enniskillen [aged 44] and [his former wife] Harriet Moncreiffe Lady Mordaunt [aged 42]. He the son of John Alexander Thynne 4th Marquess of Bath [aged 59] and Frances Isabella Catherine Vesey Marchioness Bath. They were sixth cousins.
On 5th March 1891 [his daughter] Winifred Mordaunt was born to Charles Mordaunt 10th Baronet [aged 54] and [his wife] Mary Louisa Cholmondeley Lady Massingham Parva [aged 39]. She married 31st January 1923 John Wilding Arundel Geare.
On 20th April 1896 John Alexander Thynne 4th Marquess of Bath [aged 65] died. His succeeded son Thomas [aged 33] succeeded 5th Marquess of Bath, 7th Viscount Weymouth, 7th Baron Thynne of Warminster in Wiltshire, 8th Baronet Thynne of Kempsford in Gloucestershire. [his illegitimate step-daughter] Violet Caroline Mordaunt Marchioness Bath [aged 27] by marriage Marchioness of Bath.
On 15th October 1897 Charles Mordaunt 10th Baronet [aged 61] died. His succeeded son Osbert Mordaunt 11th Baronet [aged 13] succeeded 11th Baronet Mordaunt of Massingham Parva.
On 9th May 1906 [his former wife] Harriet Moncreiffe Lady Mordaunt [aged 58] died.
On 10th June 1947 [his former wife] Mary Louisa Cholmondeley Lady Massingham Parva [aged 95] died.
[his daughter] Adela Mordaunt was born to Charles Mordaunt 10th Baronet and Mary Louisa Cholmondeley Lady Massingham Parva.
